as far as legacy goes, Castillo actually has a title reign and an undisputed championship to stake his claim to. As well as officially cleaning out a division. I dont think you can compare cotto and castillo at this current moment.

At this point i wouldnt say Cotto is a better fighter. Cotto has yet to take ANYBODYS championship away from someone, let alone be king of a division.

Cotto and Castillo's styles aren't very similar IMO. Castillo would come in, take a shot, work the body, repeat. He didn't have to worry about his chin like Cotto does at times. Cotto tries to box more and works the body a little less frequently then he used to, something he should fix.

Yeah but in the same token you can't compare Castillo to Cotto because Cotto is in the most talented rich division in boxing, where he is still one of the top guys if not arguably the top guy. When Castillo reigned at 135lbs. the talent was not abundant at lightweight and definitely no where near the talent that Cotto is dealing with right now. Again, Cotto has defeated the top tier level fighters and has come out on top with one exception....and that one exception has been tainted. I'm a realist, always have been and Castillo can't lace up Cotto's gloves.
