    Is Wilder ducking Andy Ruiz?

    Is ducksquad at it again?

This fight was ordered to become WBC mandatory yes? Both fighters with PBC.

Now Wilder has priced himself out and suddenly a free agent?

I don't blame him, Ruiz is all wrong for him. But its still not a good look for Wilder.

Even when he's sucking it in, he's a mess

      No one is ducking him.

Yes. A top 10 fighter who's not 40 who isn't coming off a 3 year layoff and who has not done well on PPV is not worth the risk for one of the most protected heavyweight champions in history.

Suddenly a free agent. Where did you get that from. Bensons tweet? He was never contracted to PBC it's known he is a open agent fight by fight, that's all Wilder was saying he has said it before that he's a free agent.

It's just like Whyte considered a matchroom fighter but he was always just fighting on a fight by fight basis with them

I think we will see what happens 28th Feb will be interesting IBF purse bids. Ruiz side won't bid if they sort a Wilder deal before then.

Almost all of them can fight anywhere they want to, especially the established ones. Thurman has said it long time ago. Broner said it years ago. Wilder said it even before the Fury fights. You don't wax poetic about loyalty if you have no choice but to stay.

Nobody knows about the exact details of why he is leaving PBC. Prior to this there were reports he was complaining about his paycheck in the Helenius fight being delayed. Maybe his pay is being drastically reduced when he's expecting the opposite, who knows?

Wilder thinks the world will watch him lose for a 4th time vs Fury. Ruiz will fight Hrgovic for the IBF title. The bids to promote the fight are due at the end if February 2023.

I don't think he's scared of Ruiz, but Wilder may have unrealistic expectations about how much he's really worth.

Didn't he mention at some point he made more money outside of boxing? Not that he's not worth a lot of money, but if you make even more outside of boxing yet still choose to fight on for legacy or your fans, why would the money become such a huge obstacle?

Ruiz needed a gift to beat a completely shot Luis Ortiz, whom Wilder knocked a much better version of twice. Despite two legitimate knockdowns and one bogus knockdown, Ortiz still won 8 rounds clean against Ruiz. Should've been a 113-112 win for Ortiz.

                    Wilder would obliterate Ruiz.
