    Pac Boy,

We need to get Mark taffet and Ross Greenburg fired, and have you take their slot. Hell, take Kery Davis' spot, too. You claim to have a much better grasp of fighters' commercial appeal.

So, if Marquez had this big fanbase, why did Pac (huge fanbase) and marquez (huge fanbase) only sell 400K? Why did Marquez-casa sell 100K?

The funny thing about all of this is that mr.counterfeit cash's return & resounding victory vs marquez & ppv sales will inadvertently help pac vs cotto. his return will put so much more emphasis on this match up. it will do better than numero uno IMO.

And i agree. Pac has receved a ton of advance promo for his fight. Thus why i say the table is set for him.

Lets be real here. Pacquiao was in the under card to Mayweather vs Jesus Chavez, no excuses.

You cant tell me that a fighter who gets booed every time he enters and leaves the ring has a big fan base and all these people booing him only come to fights. And his fans stay home....Yeah right. I hope this helps!
But Pac has fought some of the same guys and not done as well. It is confusing to me because given a choice, I'd pick a Pacquiao fight over a Mayweather fight 10 times out of 10. Oh well, boxing fans know who they want to see.

Thats Easy... Marquez didnt make a splash yet to the Mwxican fans...look what Margarito was doing at that time.... There was NO 24/7 to help sell the tickets.
Pacquiao was just breaking through. After Pac /JMM 2 Pacquiao started to make his name big...just like Mayweather did. Except he did it better and fans remember DLH's SD loss and remember Floyd Ducking out instead of rematching...Compared to Pacquiao Making DLH QUIT![ Hit it bigger with Fans]
Then Mayweather fought Hatton ...A fat 147 Hatton And it went 9...Pacquiao fights Hatton @ his strongest 140 weight and BLASTED HIM....HIT IT BIG AGAIN.....Also Pac did all this at the Peak of an American recession!

None of this really matters because Manny is a more exciting fighter to watch and people know this. Cotto/Pac will show you what im saying..... No need to talk about it until then. With the splash Pacquiao has and the huge dedicated PR fans in PR and US...as one.....It gonna be BIG.

So now that JMM has had a 24/7, and the mega-exposure, I can count on him to carry a big PPV on his own in his next fight, right? Assuming he doesn't get Hatton.

And Pac-Cotto will seriously outsell Numero uno. No excuses. right?

The mistake you guys make is thinking that you represent boxing fans. You don't.

as I said before, You know Pac's wife's name. You know who Miguel's uncle is. You know what happened in the gym.

The average, mainstream fan just wants to see a telegenic fighter and wants to participate in a big event.

Pac/Cotto will out sell. W/out a doubt... As for JMM/Hatton...it all in who believes he gave it his all. Im a JMM fan and he didnt let his hand go past 2nd round. In short...he ******! Not the JMM i know. If it was the weight, and i believe it was...fine but I will buy their fight anyway!

Great point...With that said, the mainstream fan doesn't get amnesia after a 50$ boubt they bought expecting fireworks and got 12rds of boring mismatched fighting. Kinda gives that mainstream fan a sour taste. We are die hard fans, we get mad talk **** and so on but the next fight we are right there again buying another fight. The mainstream fan gonna give second thought because And i will quote an Old School saying said in gyms everywhere, " you are only good as your last fight". Its what the fans remember its what sells your next ticket...so go out there and give the fans hat they came for. Says it in a nut shell !
