If you were going to design a guy in a lab to beat Beterbiev, you would get Bivol pretty much exactly.

Bivol hasn't knocked anybody out in yonks and can't see him doing it to Beterbiev. The accumulative effects of Beterbiev's power will get to Bivol and he will get knocked out. If Joe Smith Jr can buzz Bivol it doesn't fare well having to go rounds with a murderous puncher in Beterbiev.

        Both fighters have been buzzed.

People are talking about how powerful Beterbiev is, and it's true. But the problem with beating Bivol is, 1st you have to be able to hit him. His legs are so good that he can box you all night long. So cornering him and forcing into a brawl, is a lot easier said than done. On top of that, he's not a runner, he's a master of distance. He's just outside of your punching range, but always in range to hit you. So how hard someone else punches becomes less of a factor, because Bivol is never there to be hit. When he is hit, he's solid and takes a shot very well. And he stays calm under pressure. He doesn't get hit with consecutive punches in a row. With his ring IQ, legs, stamina, accuracy, economy of motion, and overall abilities, he can beat anyone if he's in shape, which he always is. One thing about Tim Bradley is, he knows boxing. Never doubt his intelligence. Just take one hard look at the size of his f. .king head

I agree with everything except Bradley being intelligent.

Bradley is way off base here. Yearde fought well and has a lot of power. Biev ate four or five KO shots and walked through them no worse for wear, and proceeded to touch Yearde a few times, and Yearde wilted. As everyone does when Biev lands just about anything.

Biev vs Bivol is an interesting fight. Bivol can win if he boxes all night and stays away. That is a huge task, Biev cuts the ring off better than any pressure fighter going right now. And Bivol has shown me nothing in the power department to make me think he can keep Biev off him. Bivol is a good boxer, but the Canelo fight and Zurdo fights have fooled many people. Canelo is overhyped as hell and always looks mediocre against anyone actually good. Bivol exposed him as a hypejob. And Zurdo is not a great fighter.

Full respect to Bivol for beating them. But he is now being hyped as this incredible unbeatable master boxer. He is very good. He does everything well, but like I said, Biev will start touching him and by the late rounds, I see Bivol hurt bad with no answers and going out like Gzovdyk. Biev has destructive power, takes a helluva punch and he has underrated skills.

Bivol might pull out a boring UD running, but I see Biev making him quit.

I generally disagree with everything that old balloon head says.

A great fight, but no one knows how this might go. Beterbiev has overlooked skill as well as brute power .... but he may be declining.m He's getting older for sure. Bivol is a nearly flawless boxer, with underrated power (he doesn't often seek KO's per se). These are two top-of-the-class boxers, and the one thing certain is this is a fight for the ages. "A punchers chance"? That is an insult to a man who has boxed at heavyweight successfully (in the amateurs) versus international competition for years. And who has decimated the professional LHW class for years. The one exception to his reign is the similarly exceptional Bivol. But that comment is still an insult.

Will love seeing this fight if it happens. We will never know who would win otherwise. PS - hoping it can happen before Beterbiev gets much older. Otherwise it will only be a shell of the fight it should have been.
