I stated about 2-3 years ago that Bivol and Benavidez would beat canelo if he ever faced either of those two men and after watching the first fight bs Bivol.. I tend to agree with canelo that he will beat him in the rematch… regardless if it’s 68-75…. Canelo is better than I ever thought.

wait what? How is Canelo suddenly "better" if he lost every fkn round the first fight and nearly got yet another undeserved decision? Let's be real here, Canelo could easily have 4 losses on his record right now. He definitely lost to GGG once, probably twice, debatably lost to Lara. Could have lost to Cotto. Beat by Bivol in pretty much a shut out. The number of soft touches, smaller guys and shot fighters on his resume is literally mind boggling. Like look at it. John Ryder. He just needs to retire now because these sht fights are old man.

Bivol slaughtered Canelo who won one round, possibly two, max. No way Canelo wants to fight Bivol again. Canelo’s use of performance enhancing drugs increased his muscle mass and power but not skills nor footwork. If they do fight, it will be Canelo’s last bout. Bivol won’t waste time just doubling the number of punches landed, he will knock Alvarez out. Canelo has made a lot of money and has his brains intact. He can have a great life by retiring now and promoting products. No reason to end a career, sometimes with dubious wins (like two fights with Triple G at middleweight) and a couple of others (one judge gave him a draw with Mayweather when Alvarez lost every minute of every round). So retire. Get in the Hall of Fame and enjoy life. Canelo has had too many fights and the calendar shows he will only get slower and easier to hit.

Canelo still thinks he could be competitive fighting Usyk! Canelo is delusional. He had a difficult time with a 40 year old Triple G who is at least five years past his prime and fighting at a higher weight division than he had ever competed before. Fighting Bivol is unwise. It will end badly for the guy who was caught cheating twice before his second fight with GGG.

Porter and Garcia both lost split decision fights to Thurman. They were still relevant at WW when Spence fought them. Brook was a belt holder and Spence traveled overseas for that. Same exact thing Crawford did by fighting Horn who lost to PAC.
