Both these guys careers are just about over, instead of them fighting other guys and possibly beating them stirring up the rankings then retiring id rather see them fight each other then as an end to their hall of fame careers

I have to see these two guys in the ring before I believe it. I am one of Hopkins' biggest fans, but he isn't doing anything for his legacy by taking this fight. We are going to have to listen to his haters say of how he is ducking Chad Dawson if Chad beats Johnson a lot more impressively than he did the first time, which will not be easy. But it's possible if Glen has lost a step. And I don't think a Hopkins-Adamek fight will ever happen. I think Tomasz is going to stay at Heavyweight.

It will looked back on as him avenging his loss. Personally, I'd rather see him fight Adamek and try to get another title before retiring but this is the next best thing.

Jesus, I'm about to bust a nut looking at that avy. Ha ha. What's your opinion of this fight getting signed? As a fan of B-Hop, I've actually lost a little respect for Hopkins for doing it. I wanted to see him fight Dawson, but I heard that HBO was pulling funny business where that fight is concerned. He is able to get back in the ring sooner if he fights Roy. They wanted to put a Dawson-Hopkins fight off until mid 2010 I believe.

Have you heard that conversation between Roy and Bernard on the phone after he beat Lacy? He had to accept the fight because he sounded scared to fight him, making up bull**** ass excuses. If you like i can do so digging and post that thread there where the have the link to the telelphone conversation.
