Okay, the current article by Rafael is here. But given the four year old article by Rafael which said almost exactly the same thing, I'm very sceptical.

Jesus, I'm about to bust a nut looking at that avy. Ha ha. What's your opinion of this fight getting signed? As a fan of B-Hop, I've actually lost a little respect for Hopkins for doing it. I wanted to see him fight Dawson, but I heard that HBO was pulling funny business where that fight is concerned. He is able to get back in the ring sooner if he fights Roy. They wanted to put a Dawson-Hopkins fight off until mid 2010 I believe.

I'm there with you. I think Roy's style will still give Bernard problems, unless Bernard decides to be become aggressive, which hasn't been his style in recent years.

Hopkins is the biggest HYPOCRYTE in boxing."Oh I won't fight past my fortieth birthday for my dying mother"AND WHO CAN FORGET",I'll NEVER FIGHT Roy Jones after what Calzaghe did,Why should I Calzaghe just fought a SHELL OF HIS FORMER SELF"So what are you fighting POPKINS-a dead man thats what. The guy is a JOKE.Another hit and hold(illegal)boring a** fight from POPKINS.Hit ,hold then let go(your opponent is being held so he has no idea when you let go)hit again then hold.WHAT A MASTER,WHAT AN ATHLETE,WHAT A CON-JOB on the boxing public!!I petition Hopkins needs to retire or stop hitting and holding(yes, holding is illegal check the rulebook),he'd retire first because he knows without holding(cheating)he WOULD HAVE ALREADY LOST HIS last 5 fights. From Adamak to Jones-POPKINS What happened?

No the date of that article is at the top of the page: "Originally Published: December 16, 2005".

And there are lots of givaways in the article itself - you obviously didn't bother to read it. E.g. "Hopkins, who turns 41 in January", and "Hopkins, who was considering retirement after his second consecutive close decision loss to Jermain Taylor on Dec. 3", references to Judah being about to defend his title against Boldomir, and lots more.

I have to see these two guys in the ring before I believe it. I am one of Hopkins' biggest fans, but he isn't doing anything for his legacy by taking this fight. We are going to have to listen to his haters say of how he is ducking Chad Dawson if Chad beats Johnson a lot more impressively than he did the first time, which will not be easy. But it's possible if Glen has lost a step. And I don't think a Hopkins-Adamek fight will ever happen. I think Tomasz is going to stay at Heavyweight.
