It has become every so apparent to me that the lines have been draw in the sand when it comes to Floyd Mayweather Jr.

On One Side you have the BOXING Fans. Who Praise Him as the one of the Pound 4 Pound best they ever seen, and an all time Legend. I am talking about true boxing fans, those who love the art of boxing and appreciate the skill, discipline and dedication it takes to be truly great in the sport.

On the other side you have the FIGHT fans, those who question Mayweather status as a great fighter and Criticize he fight style as “BORING” “LACKING DRAMA” AND “DOESN’T TAKE RISK”. In simpler terms, the fans that love blood and guts warriors, and who praise raw aggression over season skill, and risk taking over discipline.

So here is the question If you had to pick 1 or the other which one are you and why?

    BOXING FAN
    FIGHT FAN

    Horus: Boxing Fan

    My argument
    Is BOXING IS AN ARTFORM...
Floyd Mayweather jr. has mastered the ARTFORM of boxing
Just look at the compubox numbers!!! He is a plus 32

Why bleed and cut it you don't have too?
I don't blame Floyd for not wanting to be punch drunk.
I don’t want to see him in there just swinging crazy wild ass punches.
That’s not what I expect from or want to see from Floyd, as so called “boxing fans” shouldn’t either.

Could you imagine someone like MIchael Jordan dumbing down his skill level to make a basketball game closer so people can see a more competitive game?

Or Jerry Rice purposely dropping passes so football fans can see how he struggles under pressure.

Allot of "so-called" boxing fans but really are just "FIGHT FANS" are always trying to force Floyd and other fighters that practice the sweet science to abandon their defense and put there chin in the air for there enjoyment.

FLOYD is boxing at its purist form.
So the excitement you should get is not Wanting Floyd to change his game up...

But wanting to see if anybody will take the risk like Castillo did in order to beat Floyd.....

Floyd shouldn’t have to change his style to accommodate FIGHT FANS like you.

BOXING FANS love his style just the way it is...

Cherry picking opponents is not an option in the NBA or the NFL, you go by a schedule and then at the end of the year, you come out and face the very best.

Fighting the midget and not being willing to knock him out is like having the great prime Jerry Rice on your team and only settling for field goals the entire game.

      In your post your say
"Its professional boxing, people pay to see skilled guys scrapping.
Not one guy potshotting a FW for 12 rounds and not engaging."

But who fault really is it, if you let your oponnent "pott shot " you for 12 rounds...?
Why would you blame FLOYD for taking advantage of what an Opponent gives him????

Why would you blame Floyd for that ???

If I threw something at your head, hopefully you would have the wherewithal to move out of the way. ...

      Or

Would you Stand there get hit to prove that you are not scared of the object throne at you, and then throw something Back....?
Its not my opinion. When guys use your definition of "boxing" the crowd boos.

Why is that Horus? Do they not understand what they're watching? Are you smarter than them? LOL.

JMM got potshotted cuz' he's a career FW.

I guarantee if Floyd fought Hopkins he couldn't get away w/ that ****.

see even as a Floyd fan I can answer this

because a lot of boxing fans like the thrill of combat, they like to see their fighters go to great lengths to pull out all the stops to win. They like their fighters to take things to the edge then further

Floyd has a penchant for doing just enough to dominate but not enough to emphatically win a crowd over

Im a huge fan so I dont mind watching him give a virtuoso performance

but understand when your fight opts not to "go for the kill" very often he will turn off crowds

If you are truly a "BOXING FAN" how can you say you should be trying to win the fight by KO?
its not about the KO solely. Heck the higher up in competition the harder it is to truely sustain being a KO specialist

          what it is

its the effort in going for that extra. It's the sense of blood in the water and knowing your boxer is a fucking predator about to strike. There is a such of animalistic rite in watching a guy go for it all in hopes of winning. Floyd fans have to settle for just enough to look good in winning

when did being a boxer require you to always try to knock the other guy out?
thats ****** even coming from you

many MANY fight fans love Pernell more than Floyd even though his KO ratio is less than Floyd's

          why?

because he dared you to hit him while he stood in a pocket firing back. He schooled fighters and sensed when it was time to end game his opponent

thats amazing coming from a guy who had little power to speak of.

what about fighting your fight, and if the knockout comes it comes..
thats fine but dont expect fans to grow roots on your career or endearing yourself to the masses

Bull****, if you go into a ring w/ a ***ing paintbrush and a canvas the other guy would just beat the living **** out of you.

Art won't save you in the ring Horus.
