This is the kind of stuff that happens when you have these close in-between weights i.e. Super/Junior. I prefer 15 rounds and regular weights. OK, call me a dinosaur. But this stuff didn't happen before the greedy multiple weight belts came along.

If he wants to challenge Bivol again, the fight should be at 175 pounds.

Staging the fight at 168 pounds, is a opportunistic move which will devalue the fight 'And challenge for Alvarez'.

Alvarez will know this, but if he is a fighters fighter 'He demands that this fight is made at 175 pounds'.

Note: I think Bivol needs to start acting like a Champion. Challenging Alvarez to a fight at 168 pounds 'Is not how I think, a undefeated WBA Super World Light Heavyweight Champion should be behaving'.
Exactly! Canelo is on RECORD saying he wants 175 NOT 168.

Bivol the one saying 168. And he wants those BELTS. That's what motivates him.

RJJ made the exact same mistake. Greats do that.

U all have excuses for boxers they don't like. If Canelo fights someone at his weight he's a weight bully. If he fights a bigger person then he's draining them when THEY clearly said it NOT Canelo. And that was just RECENTLY AND 4 years ago

Fkn I'm gonna take BIVOL at his WORD he can MAKE 168 which he has stated MANY times. Even calling out Callum Smith

        Damn u a ****** lil Kunt aren't u...
Qawi was 5”5 and Fundora is 6”7. Height doesn’t translate to weight you complete f***ing neanderthal.

Look how emotional you are man, double posting, everything in full capitals, you’re an emotional mess.

Are you in love with Canelo? Do you wanna f*** him or something?

If any fighter was dragging a Career (key word there) Light Heavyweight down to 168 because he couldn’t beat him at 175. I’d call that out as a b**** move because it is. Ray Leonard is one of my all time favourite fighters, top 5 all time but him draining Lalonde down to 168 was BS and Canelo doing the exact same to Bivol is straight BS too.

I don’t hate Canelo at all, great fighter, but him dragging a 32 year old career Light Heavyweight down to a weight he’s never fought at is disgraceful and only a fanboy would justify that kind of BS.
I'm a Bivol fan. He campaigned at 68 his amateur career. He is the one that said he would go to 68 for the belts. Canelo didn't initially want to hang his belts out. Bivol has stated over and over that he wants a shot at Canelo's belts.

No he didn’t. He boxed his entire senior amateur career at 81 kg which is around 179 lbs.

The only time Bivol boxed below that was as a junior or cadet.

Sure Bivol is probably intrigued by winning all 4 titles at 168 but it’s not likely a good idea. But don’t be fooled, the only reason all of these Canelo fans on here are advocating for it is because they know Canelo can’t beat Bivol at 100%, and their tender little hearts couldn’t handle another Canelo loss. Matter of fact, nearly all of Canelo’s big wins have been aided by either weight draining someone with rehydration clauses, having a significant weight advantage on others, having an age advantage by targeting name fighters that were 35 and older or just plain old having judges in the pocket.

People should be careful what they wish for. Imo there's a very good chance that Canelo loses to Bivol at 168. That would be more damaging to Canelo's career and legacy than losing at 175 again.

same ole clowns getting on canelo, dont let them fool u that they are about the best fights just because they getting all bold about canelo.

not one word about bivol ducking beterbiev to fight this little fella, and beterveiv using muh ramadan as an excuse for being one of the most inactive champions ever

If Bivol was smart, he'll demand the rematch again at 175 or no fight.
