But, the situation is that Alvarez has fought Bivol once before at 175 pounds.
If he wants to challenge Bivol again, the fight should be at 175 pounds.
Staging the fight at 168 pounds, is a opportunistic move which will devalue the fight 'And challenge for Alvarez'.
Alvarez will know this, but if he is a fighters fighter 'He demands that this fight is made at 175 pounds'.
Note: I think Bivol needs to start acting like a Champion. Challenging Alvarez to a fight at 168 pounds 'Is not how I think, a undefeated WBA Super World Light Heavyweight Champion should be behaving'.

But quit acting like it’s a “devalued” fight. A fight at 168 would be both fighters on a even playing field. It’ll prove who really is the better boxer. This fight isn’t just about Canelo either. Obviously Bivol wants to fight for legacy as well.
A small middleweight like Canelo tried to prove himself by fighting Bivol at 175. But Bivol trying to do the same at 168 is too much? Come on. If anything he still has a better chance at 168 than Canelo did at 175 lol. Canelo jumped 2 weight classes from where he should be with only 1 fight under his belt. Bivol is going down 1 weight class with PLENTY of experience fighting at 168.
If he can’t beat Canelo at 168 then it just proves Bivol didn’t win their first match, Canelo just lost it.
And Yes Canelo has to take whatever BIVOL decides.
We clearly see Bivol ain't all about the $$$. He stated a Canelo fight pretty much bores him.

Eddie wants Bivol to go to 168 and beat Canelo again and take all the belts. That way all the Pbc guys will have to come fight Bivol for the belts. Well played sneaky Eddie...well played!

GTFOhere. Quit acting like that sht can't be done. We got dudes walking around 25 lbs more then their boxing weight.
U gonna lie about that sht too hater? Just admit you hate Canelo and just want to see him beat. That I can respect instead of some dude strght lying
I don’t hate Canelo at all, I’ve travelled to America to watch him four times. Does that sound like somebody who “hates” him?
I call out bullsh** in boxing like Ward fighting Dawson at 168 that was BS, Leonard fighting Lalonde at 168 was BS and Canelo fighting Bivol at 168 is BS. Only a fanboy would defend that sort of BS- so it’s clear as day what you are.

He should stay in his lane but he tried being GREAT and failed. Ohh well.
RJJ made the exact same mistake. Greats do that.
U all have excuses for boxers they don't like. If Canelo fights someone at his weight he's a weight bully. If he fights a bigger person then he's draining them when THEY clearly said it NOT Canelo. And that was just RECENTLY AND 4 years ago
Fkn I'm gonna take BIVOL at his WORD he can MAKE 168 which he has stated MANY times. Even calling out Callum Smith
Damn u a ****** lil Kunt aren't u...

However, Alvarez outlined his intentions to remain as the challenger and fight Bivol in the 175lb division for the second time.
Why you blaming Canelo for this??? I'm calling BSht on uLast edited by Shadoww702; 02-06-2023, 05:51 PM.Apollo7 likes this.
