Also, "Tune Ups" used to be done a month or two before a big fight. Now it's a tune up after seven months, and then they'll be another six months until his next fight.
I’m just not going to hold this fight against him. He lost to Usyk twice and has been fighting formidable competition for a minute now. One tune up or confidence boosting fight is not going to hurt him.

It's an ok fight and one that's standard for a fighter coming off a loss. Nothing I could have a strong opinion on one way or the other.

So call it like it is then. Wilder/Helinus was hot garbage too, but nobody tried to play it off as this Top 10 opponent that will be a great fight.

And yeah, Franklin almost beat Whyte. Whyte is trash though. So Joshua will be getting two tune ups and not fighting anyone decent for a year.

Agreed and to put some prospective on it all , who has Joshua beaten? ...that seems to keep them quiet.

Okay, it's another Wilder/Helinus fight. Hearn and team don't really need to sell it like it's anymore than a tune up/confidence booster fight. I'll give you that.

Joshua is 2-3 his last 5 fights. I really don’t mind him taking this fight then Whyte next. He needs to get a few confidence building wins before taking another run at a title. He is still a cash cow so it’s not like he is getting chump change for these fights. Salita must be over the moon with one of his HWs getting the Joshua payday…

I wouldn't mind if it wasn't for the fact AJ's next fight will definitely be a rematch with Whyte.
So Whyte' most recent left overs.
                  Then the bum Whyte himself.

That's also fine just don't hype it up as a "good fight".

The best thing for boxing would be Franklin upsetting aj like ruiz did.

Lmao Hearn claims aj doesn't want an easy fight yet that's exactly what he's doing
