Hold on Edward , we accepted that Joshua could have a pass and an easy fight to ease back in there and then hopefully step it up if he's to be taken seriously BUT now this guy is calling this a 'great fight' .....If this is a great fight for Joshua then he really is done.

Crap fights seem a lot more crap when you only fight once every 8 months. Also worry that they're building towards AJ-Whyte II which is another weak fight.

Joshua could of been a higher level opponent. But the very fact? That people are complaining over this fight, highlights the standard Joshua even without a title is held to 'Tyson Fury is not held to the same standards. No Heavyweight active is held to the same level in performance and competitive as Joshua'.
It also highlights what people deep down think of Joshua as a fighter and his abilities 'Why else complain about the fight? Joshua has no title, and he is a contender now fighting another contender'.
Anthony Joshua is still one of the major players in the game 'This is what all of his critics and detractors deep down believe and know, all of them'.
I don't really think Franklin will do much vs Joshua. And not because he is a terrible fighter.
Stylistically I just don't think, he has the attributes to win rounds or trouble Joshua greatly.
I expect Joshua to win every single round, and stop a game Franklin between rounds 7-9.
The aim vs Franklin should be to assault Franklin with heavy bombarment, fight a control but very aggressive fight.
A good performance will be a stoppage, without losing a single round. Joshua should not be dropping rounds to Franklin etc.greeneye99 likes this.

Do people watch professional boxing, or have any idea what match making is about?
Franklin has been picked, because he is a solid game fighter. But stylistically, he is there to be beaten up and ****** out.
If Joshua is aiming to get back to elite level, then a world level to elite level fighter.
Would not drop any rounds to Franklin, and they would also beat him up and stop him between 7-9 rounds 'That is the aim for Joshua'.
For a fighter who has just lost his last two fights back to back. Franklin is a solid enough fighter.
Franklin, Whyte then a step back up into world level. That is what I expect from Joshua's match makers.
Rexy you hold Joshua to a high standard don't you? If you don't then why are you complaining?
Is Franklin a more inform fighter than Chisora? Yes.
Who did Tyson Fury fight last? And Usyk vs Fury has not even been made as of yet etc.Last edited by PRINCEKOOL; 02-05-2023, 12:10 PM.

People aren’t holding AJ to a higher standard, they’re holding Joshua to the standard Hearn set by claiming Joshua would be fighting top 10 HW, wants to fight Wilder, is gonna be back with a vengeance yada, yada, yada.
The actions don’t equate the words so people are gonna call out that type of BS.

Franklin would be a good opponent for Fabio Wardley. This right here is a mismatch.

Again think before you post ,it’s actually you guys who are giving Joshua more credibility because Fury would actually fight Franklin in a title fight where Joshua wouldn’t because he wouldn’t be allowed to because of the difference in standards which puts him over Fury own perceived career where he’s applauded for taking fights he shouldn’t .Whats more funny the Franklin fight diminishes Furys own win against him you just don’t understand that and that’s what’s called irony because that’s a top win for him in his career .Last edited by juggernaut666; 02-05-2023, 12:25 PM.Apollo7 likes this.
