The problem is Haney has no pop. Lomachenko will get inside and there Haney is nothing special. His jab and keeping distance won’t help when it’s hooking range. Lopez has power and this kept Lomachenko shy enough to get the UD.

Haney couldn’t dent Linares to save his life and he did the chicken dance that night. Linares is the best Haney has faced and Lomachenko outclassed Linares clearly.

Haney’s hope is that Loma is indeed getting old and his last fight was not just a bad fight. Otherwise it is KO win for the Ukrainian.

Loma will still give Haney lots of problems but looks to be on the slide .I have got to side with the much bigger and much younger fighter in this one but it will be closer than Hearn thinks.

I agree. I see no way Loma can close the gap at this stage of his career. His athleticism is dwindling and he’s undersized at 135.

Haney got all the defensive tactics to win this fight, run, hold, clinch, you name it, not to mention height, reach, skill if you like... I don't see Loma even going the distance. But miracles happen.

I don't agree with Herns. Loma may b older and maybe a little past his prime but I just think he the bigger heart. It's a close fight that will inevitably go into deep water but I see Haney going down.

And that was an OLD Linares.

Ridiculous. The only way Haney wins is if the ref allows him to hug all night long. But even then, Loma is great at breaking clinches. Haney will get overwhelmed and outclassed the same way Lopez did in the later rounds. Only difference is Haney won't have the ability to be dangerous in the 12th. Haney better hope that Loma was lying about his shoulder in the Lopez fight because if not, rounds 1-6 will look a lot different.

By the way, people don't seem to realize just good Ortiz is, how much experience he already had sparring Loma and how long he trained for that fight. Months and months. Loma was coming out of a war, literally, and a year layoff.
