He won every round, completly dominating the number 2 p4p fighter in the world.
Show me the proof because you know I will.

Shouldn't you get credit for overcoming challenges?
It was just a tune up after a two year layoff, and that is not a shot at JMM who is a great fighter but more importantly...it was a setup to a pacman fight. Its the biggest reason why he took the Marquez fight, its a precursor to Pacman.

I'm just asking the question... why so much praise for beating a LW who floyd stacked the deck against.

Floyd is a great boxer, possibly G.O.A.T. but this isn't one of his best victories imho.

I agree...the isn't one of his best victories but he accomplished all that he needed to. The purpose behind such a match-up is for a setup to a Pacman showdown.

Sure he had advantages over Marquez and its nothing to be proud of but it was merely a showcase bout and tuneup. He showed the world he is back, still has the drawing power and completely nullified the opponent which Pacman had the most trouble with.

That's all it was; nobody is claiming it was the performance of a lifetime but he should get get some credit for completely nullifying an opponent of Marquez's class.

Welcome to Non Stop Boxing. Where after a victory, everyone praises a fighter as the best.

Other than that, I didn't expect Mayweather to be that good in the ring. It looked as if the time off did some good for him.

No offense to you my friend, I know you're a resonable poster around here but still..
Maaaaan. Thats your emotions talkin because Floyd whipped that ass. You should know as a Marquez fan, that there are SMW's that cant do that to JMM. Mayweather worked like a surgeon not a bully so you gotta let that weight **** go.

can't deny floyd's great skills, but the weight was too much for jmm to carry and he didn't not bring up his speed or strength.

not saying jmm would win, just saying that he'd do better.
