Yes Mayweather did look great but are you taking into account that Marquez never fought at that weight? Marquez is a LW.

If JMM fought someone 2 weight classes below him, he'll look just as good.

No offense to you my friend, I know you're a resonable poster around here but still..

The only posters making a big deal about it are not even Floyd fans. It's fair weather fans like you who was a Floyd supporter back then but now you jumped ships for what ever reason.

So far I have seen every major Floyd fan on NSB call this a fight a famed tune-up and rust-shaker.

But why should he get credit for taking a fight even his own fans KNEW he was going to dominate in? All you guys said Floyd had JMM beat in EVERY category. So why should he get credit for choosing to fight someone he had beat in EVERY category?

Shouldn't you get credit for overcoming challenges?

Lets not pretend Floyd is a size fighter, he fights with skills. JMM's skills severly bothered Manny, and Floyd embarassed him by winning every round and dropping JMM.
Its not what he did, its HOW he did it.

More than a few people on this board picked JMM. Many on this board and in the media expected Floyd to have problems with JMM and win a close decision.
He won every round, completly dominating the number 2 p4p fighter in the world.

That's actually sad. Why would they let him fight, that's just not even safe for him. Luckily the other guy wasn't an ******* and didn't kick him in the face or something.
