If Joe Smith is not up for it, then make Yarde vs. Callum Smith in a final eliminator. Let the two champions unify, then fight the winner. In a sane world, that's how things would unfold.

Smith was never a champion either. He was dominated by Vlasov but got the horrible robbery decision. Yarde would smack the life out of Smith. Smith couldn't place an accurate shot or time it if his life depended on it.
What are you champion off? Your mom's basement?

It seems only weight or age will beat Betterbiev , the shots that Yarde landed and his volume would have been too much for most. Good for Frank here , he's not talking of easy comeback fights like some do and said he'll support him , what ever he chooses .Yarde will choose the hard route ...he's a fighter!

Like I said, paint it any color you want, your opinion doesn't count. Unlike Yarde (and he may be one day) both Smith and Wilder were World Champions, period. Wilder and Smith aren't "real" fighters? The FXCK would you call them then? It's funny how you internet losers who've accomplished nothing in life cast aspersions at World Champions. You do know you don't have to be an all-time-great to still earn the respect of being called a "real" fighter and a "real" world champion right? The FXCK did you ever accomplish in life I'm wondering?

You're a moron. He's stopped 22 pros which (not counting hookers) is 22 more pros than you've stopped. Couldn't place or time an accurate shot? Ask guys like Fonfara and Barrera (yes I know he lost to Sullivan). How about Eleider Alvarez, a former world champ who he beat the **** out of. Ask Bernard Hopkins. Hell ask Dmitri Bivol. Despite getting schooled Smith managed to clock Bivol several times, including a shot at the bell which seriously rung Bivol's bell. GTFOH... He doesn't have to be Sugar Ray Robinson to deserve some respect fool.

C’mon man! Doesn’t Anthony Yarde has about 5 or 6 knockout losses already? Who wants to constantly watch a loser fight?

Written like a true casual fan of the sport, and Boxer is your friend. The fact is, a few losses don't matter, with his style he can still be in entertaining matchups with other decent 175lbers.

If Johnson hadn't already retired, that would have been a good fight - and my su****ion is Warren didn't put Yarde in with Johnson for a reason!

I didn't realise Smith Jr was retired as well.
