    You guys WISH.
I was a fan of the concept back in 2015. The idea of fights being on terrestrial TV like back in the 80’s sounded great but it’s failed in practice IMO. They haven’t really been able to create stars, I think that’s been the biggest problem.

I actually think Oscar and Haymon were better off together, Al could handle the business side and Oscar could help build the profile of the fighters.

Which is why these PBC fighters need to take whatever fight is available and not expect big money for every fight. There's not even any money for a potential Spence vs Ennis mandatory clash as confirmed by Cameron Dunkin in his conversation with Espinoza.

But it was clear from their conversation, according to Dunkin, that Spence would not factor into Ennis’ immediate future.

“When I talked to Espinoza, he said he’s giving me a list of opponents and Spence wasn’t on it,” Dunkin said. “He said Ennis will defend his title in June.” Unfortunately for the fans, Dunkin simply does not think the financial support is there to stage a Spence-Ennis fight anytime soon.

“It’s great TV, but where’s the money?” Dunkin said. “They’re not gonna pay that kind of money — whoever — we’re not signed with anybody. Is somebody gonna call me and say you want to fight Spence? Only [Spence’s advisor Al] Haymon, [promoter] Tom Brown, Stephen Espinoza.”

I'm sure Jermall Charlo is also feeling "stranded," as you put it. No way you can put a lion in a cage willingly for months on end. Of course, he wants to go back also even just for a tuneup, but happy days are over. He can't just turn fights down thinking there'll be plenty of them anytime he chooses to fight.

Do you guys realize there is a worldwide economic downturn going on that's affecting all types of business, they are not going to put shows on to lose money so all of a sudden your stable of prelim guys sit idle and only a few of the big names get shows, it's not only boxing it is pretty much everything getting the squeeze.

there are major signs. Broner recently said PBC dont pay them after the fight but rather slowly over time.

What's interesting is that both PBC and DAZN are losing money hand over fist. The issue has to do with the fact that boxing is declining in the US yet fighters are STILL OVERPAID based on thier PPV and ticket sales! Promoters are losing money hand over fist paying these guys what they pay them.

If today's top boxers like Spence, Crawford, Charlo, Garcia, etc were only paid 1 million per fight boxing could still thrive for all the broadcasters and promoters. But guys want purses like 10 times that and they cant make it up in ticket sales and PPV. Boxing is getting hit big time.

In fairness, it's not just PBC. It is also DAZN and I honestly think both PBC, Showtime, and DAZN will die off and leave boxing very soon. This is the last year they are all done.

...based on what? Trolling Clowns on Social Media and youtube with a bunch of FAKE Conspiracy Theories?

everybody struggling and trying to recover from a Pandemic and now we're in the middle of a damn recession with Prices going up for more important stuff like I don't know...FOOD, Gas you know things that are more F^cking Important than boxing? Yet fans spend their energy worrying about PBC. Don't even have their own Finance in order but spend most of their day posting about PBC how in TF does that even make sense? People are struggling to put food on the Table and Struggling to Pay their own Bills and you idiots spend your day worried about Haymon and PBC

I got my own sh^t to worry about to spend all this energy on PBC and Boxing Struggles

Boxing as a WHOLE has a serious issue and it will only get worse for all of them. DAZN losing Billions too, Loma just talked about a issue with Network and Promotion for the Haney fight as well so not everything is great with ESPN and Top Rank. NONE of them are a Benefit or Asset to these Networks. The Sport as a Whole is just not that Popular for either of them to spend serious money on this sport

I think boxing has reached the point where it has to return to the model of the 70’s -90’s before network exclusive deals.

The best fights will be made when, espn, showtime, dazn and any other network has to bid on the fight.

Not only will that improve the top of the major cards, but now we will get the matchups of guys 1-5 that we rarely get now.

Network exclusive deals de incentivized making the best fights. They often make the worst possible fights because the network cant afford a guy they signed to a 4 -6 fight deal to lose the first 2-4 fights.
