Beterbiev and Bivol and to no lesser extent the foes they've vanquished (even Canelo) have made the LHW division my favorite over the past couple of years. But it is time for the story to reach its logical conclusion, and that is Artur and Dimitry in the ring together for supremacy. No more stalling.

Very intriguing fight because of the crazy power Beterbiev brings to table, however age and defense is an issue at this level so by the time the fight happens will he be closer to 38 or 39 going against a well rounded great boxer.

The only thing that suggests is that if even Yarde, who's a power puncher, can outbox Beterbiev, that Bivol certainly will.

Bivol doesn't need to have enough power to sleep Beterbiev. He just needs to have enough to keep Beterbiev honest. He's got the best defense in all of boxing; he's harder to hit even than Shakur Stevenson. And Beterbiev is going to need to land flush on him. Canelo and Zurdo couldn't land flush on him. What makes you think that Beterbiev will be able to?

Styles make fights, and this one is an intriguing one, if Bob can pull his head out and make the fight. The only way we know is if they fight in the ring. I don't really see that happening for promoter reasons, but hey, maybe we'll get lucky. Nobody needs to see Canelo get trounced again.

You just prove my point... Only way Bivol gets this is keeping Beterbiev away... Only problem is that Beterbiev will get to him inevitably... Either he baits him or he goes straight to him ... Bivol might counter and look good, but what happens when he gets nailed flush... 19 fights in and we see the "wtf hit me?" face over and over ... Bivol has a chance, yes... But for that to happen he has to stand up for the 12th round... I don't think it's gonna happen ... So yeah, Artur by TKO with Bivol leading on the score cards ... Sounds familiar ?

If I was bivol I would max my pay & exposure take on canelo at 168 for the belts & 30m if lose youll still be champ leaving the door open for the beterbiev fight right after a quick warm up when return to adjust back in weight. 3 fights 50m 30m canelo 5m warm up & 15m vs beterbiev. If worried about network co main it to Fury vs Aj. The revenue would solve all network issues & be enough to give real wages Or co main it fury/usyk vs hrgovic when he gets his ibf mando

Another good fight that likely doesn’t get make because of greedy promotional en******.

Yes. It sounds familiar. That's the same narrative every time Bivol fought someone with power, be it Joe Smith Jr, Canelo, or even Zurdo. Beterbiev isn't Deontay Wilder. He doesn't have tons of one shot stops. He breaks guys down. But you have to be able to catch them a lot to break them down. He was landing lots of power shots on Yarde, mainly when he trapped Yarde on the ropes. When was the last time you saw Bivol trapped on the ropes? Yarde was doing well until his gas tank started to run out. Bivol is well accustomed to going 12.

Bivol has fought elite level pressure fighters with power before. Beterbiev doesn't have anyone with the style of Bivol on his record. The closest is probably Kolling, and I doubt anyone is ****** enough to think that's the same level.

They're both pretty special talents, but if anyone's going to take Beterbiev the distance, it's going to be Bivol, and if he does, he's winning the fight unless the fix is in. At the end of the day, we won't know until they get in the ring and settle it. The longer that takes, the more it favors Bivol.

I don't think Bivol has what it takes to sleep Beterbiev, so the inevitable will happen after Bivol takes most of the rounds ... Just like with anybody else .. Sorry ...

Bla-bla-bla ? .... Pot or Kettle ? I don't need you to prove point over and over again ... Lots of "if" in your statement ... "IF" he goes the distance... "IF" he keeps Beterbiev on the outside... "IF" he avoids all the shots... "IF" he's not stuck in a corner or by the ropes and gets pummeled ... Let's agree to disagree... That fight NEEDS to happen this year...
