ARUM, "IF BIVOL COMES TO ESPN"

    LMFAO

that is the biggest hurdle right there. There's NO WAY IN HELL BIVOL would do that. DAZN gave him Canelo and Ramirez in stadiums.

We will see. I am immune to hype at this point in my boxing fandome. I have been wrong on so many legacy type of fights that until the all the signatures are in place I do not believe it

Beterbiev needs it to be soon. His power and durability is still in their prime, but his reflexes have slipped and his overall speed is declining. Bivol strengths will feed on these weaknesses. I do not think for one minute Bivol can hurt Beterbiev but Bivol may own that ring. Artur and his team cannot wait any longer and hope to beat Bivol in his prime.

Hell yeah make this fight now! Canelo rematch is pointless, he lost and doesn't belong at 175, he needs to stay at 168. Beterbiev vs Bivol or Bust.

Legendary fight and hall of fame caliber win for either guy. You have to slightly favor Bivol with his masterful boxing IQ.

You realize BeterBiev took the hardest shots thrown at him by Yarde, right ? You realize that Beterbiev was starting to do his thing starting in the 7th round, right ? You realize that Yarde has more power than Bivol, right ? What does this tell you ?

I don't think Bivol has what it takes to sleep Beterbiev, so the inevitable will happen after Bivol takes most of the rounds ... Just like with anybody else .. Sorry ...

best happen this year seeing as Beter is already 38!

This is such a wrongheaded take. Are you seriously trying to claim that Yarde and Bivol have the same style? If not, then Yarde's performance tells us absolutely nothing about how Bivol would do. The only thing that suggests is that if even Yarde, who's a power puncher, can outbox Beterbiev, that Bivol certainly will.

Bivol doesn't need to have enough power to sleep Beterbiev. He just needs to have enough to keep Beterbiev honest. He's got the best defense in all of boxing; he's harder to hit even than Shakur Stevenson. And Beterbiev is going to need to land flush on him. Canelo and Zurdo couldn't land flush on him. What makes you think that Beterbiev will be able to?

Styles make fights, and this one is an intriguing one, if Bob can pull his head out and make the fight. The only way we know is if they fight in the ring. I don't really see that happening for promoter reasons, but hey, maybe we'll get lucky. Nobody needs to see Canelo get trounced again.
