    50/50

Prime Kovalev is a better long-range boxer than Beterbiev and was considerably harder to hit clean

Beterbiev is more relentless, durable and strong minded

I can see a ward UD or late Artur KO

The outcome would depend on the rules of the fight.

Under normal unified boxing rules, Beterbiev would either stop Ward or win by wide UD if Andre managed to survive for 12 rounds.

Under the special modified rules that Ward had for his title fights, where he was allowed to use head butts and low blows without punishment and was guaranteed a points win if it went the distance, it would be a 50/50 fight.

He is overrated and he knows it. That’s why he always takes a **** on Canelo, GGG, anyone who fought during his time. Ward is insecure.
Ward also clearly lost the first fight with Kovalev on points but was given a blatant gift decision. People don't talk about that very much because it was overshadowed by the disgraceful events at the end of the rematch.

Beterbiev is not a difficult fight stylistically for Ward, it is a dangerous fight 'Due to his strength and power'. But technically and tactically, a straight forward fight for Andre Ward to prepare for.

Beterbiev movement and ability to cut off the ring, and apply educated pressure 'From my observation is not good enough, to use the tactics he applies to beat Ward'.

Kovalev was stylistically a way more difficult fight. Kovalev had a solid and dominant Jab, good movement, better defense than Beterbiev, comparable punching power, and more variation in his offense from Mid-Long Range. All of these attributes forced Ward to show more of his game, and operate outside of his default tactics.

Beterbiev seems to be a pressure fighter, who relies on being stronger than his opponents 'Clearly benefits from the day before weigh in rule, and is the big man on fight night'.

Eventually this will have a negative effect on his performance and conditioning.
            Eventually?

            He's 38 years old already!

The thing to me is I don't think beterbiev would allow ward to fight his fight . Kova did well vs ward but eventually he fought at wards pace. I think ward would eventually get broken down . He don't get enough credit for the fight with the one guy for the wbc belt . It's always a pleasure watching bivol and bievs . 2 different arts
