Boxing is on life support and this board matches its state. Many old posters predicted this outcome, but they abandoned this place and spared no room for gloating.

Boxing has always had ups and downs. When the sport develops the next generation of stars and we start seeing good fights people will come out of the woodwork like they always do. This literally happens like every 10-15 years, you must be a really young fan or you're so old your memory is shot.

What more is there to talk about? I can't even get a handful interested in talking about Ennis' next fight. Whether he will continue to play waiting game like he did last year. In other words, it's become normal for these new breed to wait, wait, wait for the big fights and won't even take stay-busy fights while waiting.

This is the legacy left from the previous crop. Invest in time like DaVinci paintings getting bigger in value as they age. It's a marination era where boxers are terrified of losing.

True, seen it a few times. Larry Holmes face fighters who were not very good. 10 - 15 years later we saw Lewis Bowe Holyfield Mercer Tyson.

Jaron Boots used to fight an average of 4x a year. He started in 2016 and fought 8x. The next year (2017) he fought 9x.

Five times in 2018. Two times in 2019. Three times in 2020. Two times in 2021. Once in 2022 last year. Last fight was weeks ago.

As you can see, his activity went downhill dramatically. https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/756515

Nuff said. Nothing more to say.

That said, I also thought they were nuts at times but enjoyable. They brought life to this forum and were mostly an uppity crowd who were excited.

AT LEAST THEY DIDN'T TALK ABOUT WHO MADE X AMOUNT OF PPV BUYS. That seems to be all people talk about on the forum these days. Bring back the Pac fans over them any day.
I had a different experience. If they didn't agree with you it was constant attacks and the infamous Red K. They were not real boxing fans. They were one rabid fanbase and very sensitive creatures. They hated Floyd with a passion.

Fair points. Insults got out of control, politics being used to hijack threads, people with very serious mental and social issues spamming the boards with nonsense...it's a slippery slope and I think it's too late to save this place. I used to visit and post daily - now, not even close.

Mods on this forum have done a disgraceful job. Absolute rubbish.
