How can anyone in their right mind call Benavidez, "Bumavidez". The 14 year old version of Benavidez could probably knock everyone in this forum out cold. The man is a killer, and Plant is going to get hit everywhere, even under his tongue, the roof of his mouth, the bottom of his feet, and behind his knees. I tip my hat to Caleb Plant for taking this fight because David Benavidez is an even bigger risk than Canelo Alvarez ever was and plus he is fighting him at a discount rate.

Moreover, I like and admire the fact that he is willing and has the moral courage to take an ass whooping. Which is something that Ginger would never do. This is the day that us boxing fans have been waiting for.

If the man makes the weight, he’s not too big for the division. It’s a gamble if he shrinks down too much, but I have always disagreed with the “weight bully” argument - come in at the contracted weight, and you’re all good.

Why does Plant ask to walkout second, why did he ask for a 22 foot ring, why did he ask for the blue corner hahaha, he's acting like he is the interim champion. If he was burning for a fight with Benavidez he wouldn't be so demanding. Benavidez being the interim champion asked for nothing but getting Plant in the ring with him. That's the sign of a true warrior, reminds me of old school, they just wanted a battle with another warrior without silly demands. Benavidez will be too imposing on Plant and wear him down. He can run in that 22 foot ring but he can't hide.
