The fact that Wallin is fighting a 9-4-1 Mexican journeyman in a banquet hall speaks volumes of Salita's promotional muscle. Instead of securing better opponents for Wallin to ascend the rankings, he gives us a weekly soundbytes on NSB stating Otto is ready for a big fight.
    True That

That's my point he fought Travis Kauffman, and Dominic Brezeale, who were decent fighter's, but that was 2, and 3 year's ago.
That all the top fifty ranked fighters are afraid to fight him that's just hogwash, the 50 ranked fighter's are there because they've fought their way up.
Otto Wallin is ranked # 17, on BoxRec but his opponent Helaman Olguin is ranked at # 243, the disparity in skill level is obscene.

This is a bad joke. He really needs to find a good promoter he deserves better then this. This is a 6-8 Rd fight. The whole promotion seems shabby even for a (stay busy) fight

It's true. No established fighter wants him. Even Luis Ortiz said no. A stay-busy fight is better than making your wife or partner sick of seeing your face doing nothing. It's dehumanizing.

This man is avoided like The Plague after his strong showing against Fury. He needs a much better promoter. Salita is a Little League trash bag of a promoter.

Wallin should try and get the Hrgovic fight and force a mandatory IBF title.

That is the trend now. Instead of the fighters enhancing their profile they instead take fights that don't move the needle for them because they are waiting for that phone call. They don't want to take risks.

Those two fights fights weren't bad fights at the time but they were both on PBC cards against PBC affiliated fighters. His opportunity against Fury was on a Top Rank card. He would have fought Whyte on a Matchroom card had Dillian not suffered a "shoulder injury".

When he's on a Salita promoted event he ends up fighting Olguin in a 6 rounder at a banquet hall.

Wallin desperately needs a new promoter.

Otto isn't a natural Heel or talker and Salita isn't going to talk Otto into a big fight; he needs to work the orgs and force a mandatory.

Wallin definitely needs a new something, because the inactivity, and below average opponent's that he's fighting just isn't cutting it.
He's a fighter that many of thought was going to make a name for himself, but we were sadly disappointed, because he just didn't pan out.
