Had Joshua fought Demsey you guys would be saying he avoided Franklin who most of the forum thought won against Whyte ( even though not landing nearly as many clean punches ) now that he is fighting Franklin that even some of you said he wouldn’t chance that fight now he’s avoiding Wallin ?
You can’t make this stuff up only on boxing scene where the only guy who avoided Wallin was actually Fury the guy who almost lost on a technical stoppage what happened to that rematch in Furys in between cherry picking fights ? Lol
Joshua probably wins this rather easy ,Demsey was the more intriguing fight but you guys cried about it like woman so it was changed .Last edited by juggernaut666; 01-24-2023, 03:42 PM.Comment

Unbeaten world champ Fury fought Chisora in his last fight, so how is anybody surprised AJ, coming from 2 back to back losses, fights Franklin next?Comment

That sounds about right and how it will/should go, just makes me laugh everyone jumping on AJ like vultures but at the same time there is many top boxers who have never fought the caliber Joshua has although older non prime versions. I think it's cool he takes a step back to recompose himself and find himself as a fighter.
But for sure? In two fights time, Joshua has to step up in levels.
If he was matched vs Wilder, Joyce, Hrgovic for his first fight back 'That is bad match making'.
Check Fury's career, the one thing I will say about it 'Is that his team are good match makers'.
Good match making is a combination of business, and stylistic challenges 'That will benefit the fighter'.
Chisora was business, if the third Chisora vs Fury fight was ever going to happen 'It had to be made there and then'.
Franklin is not the best fight Joshua could take right now, but it is understandable if they are gradually going to increase the levels.
I think with Joshua, most of the work has to be done in the gym. Like back in the amateur days, week in week out 'Not just staying in condition'.

I'm no AJ fan, but cut the man some slack. He's coming off two losses. Franklin is a decent fighter. Not elite, but not a bum either. Probably lacking the power to seriously threaten AJ, but a useful opponent. Even Ali fought his share of safe opponents. London, Coopman, Dunn, Evangelista and didn't receive half the criticism AJ does.Comment

The only cool thing here is that Franklin gets justice edging out Whyte.
Hell, Franklin might be able to chin JoshuaComment

How on the world do you compare Ali to AJ? Incredible stuff right here.
Ali was way past his prime when he fought Dunn, Coopman, Evangelista etc. He was on his way out and already considered an ATG by then.
AJ was not even 30 when he got beat up by Andy Ruiz - Ruiz is no where near Frazier or Foreman or Norton.
AJ is now a glorified journeyman. He is never going to be ranked in the top 30 HW of all time. Comparing Ali to him isn’t just sacrilege, it is insane.
