Laughery and Wilson are his last 2 wins in 2 years with over a year of inactivity .

Is he a top 10 fighter ? That’s a big no . And he shouldn’t have won his last fight . He should actually go into the Bridgerweight weight because that’s his ideal scenerio where he looks better leaner and would be a top guy there not so much at heavyweight it’s over as far as I can see at a real run for any heavyweight title ,though it’s funny he manages to stay relevant in some rankings fir no reason at all like some manage .

It wasn’t Hunter’s fault that Hughie Fury pulled out of their scheduled October fight. I wouldn’t mind seeing him rematch Bakole with the winner taking on Dubois.
Hunter may not be top 10 but he’s definitely a warrior.

Why should he go to the bridgerweight class when barely anyone is fighting in that weight class ? He really beat provotekin but they gave it a draw and provotekin was a top 10 heavyweight ?

Thought I read he'd be facing Bakole next. If that falls through, then I wouldn't mind seeing him in with Joseph Parker. The issue is I'm not sure that headlines anywhere. Hunter-Bakole II or Hunter-Parker would be a good chief support for most UK fights though.

Other than that, maybe get him in as Jared Anderson's next fight after his April opponent?

Is Hunter a reasonably big name in the US? He'd have recognition here in the UK, but as I say, he's not a headliner.

I'd watch Hunter vs Parker, H. Fury or Hrgovic anyday. Would be good co main event for any fight card

It's because of the Forrest fight, which he should have lost. Hunter doesn't have a promoter (last I checked) - he finds himself in a no man's land where no one is interested in investing in building him up, but he's a bit too dangerous to be brought in as a name opponent that's a sure bet to lose.

He turned down a fight with Hrgovic to make a lot of money fighting on Triller, but the consequences there are the sanctioning bodies aren't going to bother with him after turning down a title eliminator. Hard to see an opportunity coming his way any time soon.

The same reason he went to the Triller boxing except he can win a legit title .

He didn’t beat Povetkin and in fact was knocked down but they missed it so it wouldn’t have been a draw anyway .

You asked if he’s a top 10 heavyweight still ? Hes obvious not my post clearly demonstrates why as his best performance was a draw years ago in a fight for some strange reasons still ppl claim he won but that’s what they do on here if a fight is relatively competitive when the other guy performs better than usual he must be the winner that’s boxing scene logic .

Going back to Bridgerweight, well if anyone is barely fighting in it wouldn’t that suit Hunter he’s a guy who likes to be inactive wheather a fight is postponed or not he’s done that a lot himself to just cancel fights altogether ? Lol

He was meant to fight Hughie Fury twice but Fury pulled out. I could possibly see him fighting Dubois for the WBA regular at some point.

I think it’s unlikely with Taylor-Catterall being delayed. I liked that fight too, would like to see how much Bakole has improved since the first fight.
