Won't blame it all on Spence. He could definitely win a UD if he fought smart. The fight didn't happen because it is too big a risk for PBC. All it would take is guarantees for both fighters and it happens. Crawford even had financial backers and PBC wouldn't have it.

PBC will protect Errol from Bud at all costs.

Lets face it, if Spence wanted that fight it would have happen but he's also a promoter and he knows that a loss to Crawford means his money train is over.

Spence may be a fighter and businessman but the the PBC, Al Hayman and Showtime are not fighters, they have no legacy, they don't fight, they just make money off of content like a record lable with Showtime playing the roll of Spotify.

Think about it....If Crawford beats Spence, then what? Thurman is old, Porter is out, Danny Garcia only fights when he needs money for another laundromat in Queens. Spence stops make money and without belts, the PBC will loses it's leverage at welter weight.

As for Showtime, Espinoza may claim that he wants the fight but behind closed doors he absolutely does not and neither does the network. In the end, if Spence loses.... every championship fight will be in the hands of a free agent and fights will go to the highest bidder. Showtime has a yearly budget that depends upon content brought on by one provider with fighters under contract. Showtime will do PPV's with in-house fighters but they are NOT structured for the open bid arena...Espinosa will be looking for a job.

The winning formula for Spence and the PBC and Showtime is to stay away from Crawford, move Spence up to 154. Keep Spence away from Crawford and Boots Ennis and let Ennis carry the flag for the PBC and Showtime. Maybe, in a few years when Crawford slows a bit force an aging Crawford to fight a younger mature Boots Ennis.

The only other scenario is if Spence decides to go for the 50 million but some how I doubt it.

You forgot to mention that Crawford lost faith when Spence turned down a 50 million and instead took on another stay busy fight for more money than Spence was offering or has ever made in his life. Just sayn.

Says the guy that literally ran from Khan. Bradley was confronted by Khan and didn’t say shït only to sign up with Top Rank shortly after.

Also, Spence has 3 belts so who’s been busy unifying the division? Spence or Crawford?

I like Tim but this is a ****** comment from a guy of his standing.
The same guy who was on video praising the fact that "we don't do business with them guys" talking about Al Haymon. He got a gift win vs Pacman and all his other fights he was famous for using his face a Dfence. PPVweather and Spence would've dogged his azz!

"Bobble-head" Tim still talking? It was his man that pulled out the negotiations, yet he wants to blame Spence! It's so sad that he gifted a victory over Provodnikov and Pacquiao! Now we have to listen to him, as if he was a big deal in the game! I'm always salty with him for his analysis of Pacquiao vs. Horn! Salute to Teddy Atlas!

I don’t blame either fighter FTR, I’m sure they’d fight tomorrow if they could. Bradley should know that.
