Comments Thread For: Prograis On Possible Isaac Cruz Showdown: "I Would Love That Fight, I Really Think I Beat Him Up Bad"

In the mind of Isaac Cruz, his championship dreams were unfairly dashed away following 12 competitive rounds against Gervonta Davis. Since his highly publicized defeat, Cruz (24-2-1, 17 KOs) has successfully picked up the pieces, reeling off two consecutive stoppage victories.

No thanks, as 140 is deeper than 135, there are far better/natural 140lbers he could fight instead of a small lightweight coming up; and lets face it, Cruz is only known for losing to Tank.

Prograis has too much in his toolbox for Cruz's caveman style of fighting, Isaac would get humiliated then stretched.

Prograis stops him in his tracks. Cruz is a small fry.

No need to get Cruz beat up! There are good fighters @ 140! Lipinets, Ergashev, Russell, Choose One!

Cruz is far overhyped, he hung in there with a one handed fighter who isn't very good to begin with.

This was a weird and unexpected pairing being mentioned. Cruz is a small dude and his style would suit Prograis perfectly so I can't see him being competitive unless he finds a way to get in on Prograis. This shouldn't even be a convo but if the money is right for both guys, power to em. Both guys really should be focused on the business they each got in their respective divisions as both 135 and 140 are hot right now.
