Prograis would love it since he be trying to fight nothing but smaller fights moving up in weight. The kills himself to make weight knowing he can't compete with bigger guys. The WW division is the money division but he ain't trying to challenge himself a fight guys his size. Look at all the fighters he's been calling out to fight, all 130-135 lbs fighters who have to move up

He must've got asked this question. I can't imagine him bringing up a small 135 like this without being prompted about itComment

Regis needs to be careful because Isaac Cruz is very chancy. I know that Regis has a good chin and can punch and all but so does the "Pitbull" Isaac Cruz.
if Prograis isn't careful or reckless he can end up getting clipped and finding himself climbing off the canvass. So he needs to be very careful when dealing with the "PItbull".
I’m wondering if this is being thrown out there cause of your PBC or is it for Davis ?
No way he even comes close to hurting Regis

I will watch whatever fight is next for the entertaining Prograis. But this would just amuse me because Prograis is in it, not because the match up is exciting. I guess it is much better than nothing for half the year waiting on a bigger name.Comment

Cruz has heart and he comes to fight but he's not a very complicated fighter, he doesn't do anything special in the ring. Cruz gets beat by Progrias, Taylor, Ramirez, Zepeda and even Jack Catterall...and somewhere in that mix getting knocked out 2 or 3 times.
A better match for Cruz is Teofimo but Teo's father isn't going to let that happen.
Moreover, he took one of the hardest punchers in boxing the distance in Gervonta Davis while still trying to win.
I believe that Prograis is just posturing. He is no fool. He would box him from the outside without taking many risks for fear of being countered.
He realizes that the “Pitbull only has only one bullet in his chamber and that is his power. I can see him winning via a decision.Last edited by champion4ever; 01-20-2023, 08:03 AM.Comment
