Makea sense. We've already seen it at 175. At 168 Canelo thinks he has a shot at revenge and Bivol has a shot at becoming a two weight champ and unified at 168. I don't mind this fight.

Hearn has promoted Canelo's last five or more and although he has Bivol under contract he would be far happier with the money man Canelo's promotions

I think 2 of those were with PBC, but still. It's no different than when he wanted Chisora to beat Usyk (his fighter) to keep AJ safe.

Sure there is, Bivol isn't afraid like Cinnabon, after his undisputed fight against Beterbiev, which in itself is a big fight, he can fight Benavidez, Charlo, Plant, or Morrell as the undisputed at 168. He can also have a rematch with Beterbiev regardless of who wins their fight.

Those are all great fights that I would love to see. All of them combined probably don’t make Eddie as much money as one canelo fight if canelo were to win this.

lots of people have success moving up divisions but when you are established & moving down for a big fight, oh idk about that one, they think they can but end up weak and not effective, big risk

True but a bigger risk for Canelo. If he loses his titles at 168 to the same guy who bested him at 175, he hasn't got a lot left. I don't think 160 is even an option for him anymore.

If Bivol should lose at 168 he could, theoretically, return to 175 much richer but none the worse for wear so far as his future in the division he belongs in is concerned. Theoretically anyway.

Actually he's very concerned about what Beterbiev would do to him, if he were fool hardy enough to step into the ring against him.
After what Bivol did to him in their fight at 175 pounds, he's had to deal with the reality that fighting Light heavy weight's, cruiser weight's, and heavy weight's can get him seriously hurt.
Canelo was getting stung by a fighter (Bivol), by a fighter who's not known for his punching power. One can just imagine what bigger, harder hitting, fighter's like Beterbiev, Usyk, and other's would do to him.
On top of the fact that Canelo has looked really worn out in his last two fight's, there's no doubt that Canelo is on the last leg's of his career in boxing.

I was asking if Bivol is no longer interested in the Beterbiev Unification bout? Initially, I thought that was his top priority, and not Canelo! Now Hearn is talking Buatsi, Canelo, then Beterbiev! WTF???
