Junior middleweight prospect Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. is very motivated to challenge WBC champion Sergio Martinez. Martinez is a massive step up for Jr. I think he will lose badly but I would give him alot of credit for stepping in there with a world class opponent and maybe the best fighter in the world at 154. -

I think Jr is doing great and is being brought up very carefully matched against his own level fighters. This is his amateur career right now. If anything, John Duddy will be like his first real pro fight. Martinez would be his second.Comment

He has 0 amateur fights. Imagine putting a baseball player in the Major Leagues without at least some Minor League A, AA, AAA experience?

SO what? Wilfredo Vazquez JR had 0 ama fighst also, and he have only 16 fights and he has face tougher opposition than Chavez JR.
