How many prospects have GBPs develop?

How many date have HBO open for non GBPs fighters?

Ho many fighters those GBP have?

Top Rank>>>>>>>>>>GBPs and thats a fact!!!!

Not is not beause of Cruz, if because im been noticing that all GBPs prospects have been losing in their 1rst or 2nd fight with them.

Guerrero, had to quitt against Yourdan, because he was in for a long night, Velazquez lost a UD because the dumbasses at GBPs match him with a tough durable opponent, who have gave hell to a lot of top foighters after a 1 year and a moth layoff with a injury and the guy have only 10 fights, Ortiz quitted, Cruz got KTFO and so and so.

They dont know **** about properly match prospects!!!!!

Well Valero-Soto was in place, but if you actually follow things, Valero had a DUI and cant a Visa to fight in the US.

Fernado Montiel managed his ass to lose to that bum he fought.

So Top Rank is working with what thy got!!!

The undercard is not that bad

    Santos-FOreman
Soto vs Acosta - Not sign yet
    Soto-Karaas vs Gomez!
So instead you want fights like

    Juanma Lopez vs Gerry Penalosa
Gamboa vs [insert tomato can here]
Chavez Jr vs Louhauller w/e his name is

    Instead of

    Ortiz vs Maidana
Lock vs Cruz(which was a hell of a fight)
    Kirkland vs Julio(tough durable opponent)
    Jacobs vs Smith(another good fight)

You wonder why HBO gives more dates to GBP than to Top Rank...look who Top Rank match their prospects with, all tomato cans. Who's gonna watch that?

Posters like you bash Floyd for not taking risks but then you turn around and defend Top Rank cause they don't take risks with their fighters. GBP takes too much risks? probably, but I guess that's what the fans like.

Margarito(Top Rank) vs Mosley(GBP) more than 1 Mill viewers.
    Pacquiao(Top Rank) vs Hatton(GBP) 800k PPVs sold.

When Top Rank can do numbers like that alone, then you can say Top Rank>GBP

HBO is not interested in fights like

    Cotto vs Jennings
    Pavlik vs Rubio

HBO wants fights like Cotto vs Margarito II, Pacquiao vs Cotto, Gamboa vs Lopez, Cotto vs Clottey, Valero vs [anyone with a pulse] and watch HBO give Top Rank dates like crazy.

It's good that boxing is being invested again. We need it to be on free TV more with the smaller names and then PPV ocne they are big.

I can't really say that Golden Boy puts on good fights on ESPN, but they did a good job on VS unlike that Tye Fields bull**** we got from Arum. And Champbox wants to watch undefeated prospects get fed fighters with sub par records on $40 and $50 PPVs and that's his perrogative. I aint letting that snake rip me off. And that JMM-Mayweather card was good the other night other than the main event and the John-Juarez fight.

Regarding Mosley, I actually think he deserves to have three TV dates next year. HBO did that for Cotto until this year, so why shouldn't Mosley get the same priviledge? I'm pretty sure he won't be getting knocked out cold anytime soon. Even though I am against HBO's monopoly over HBO, Mosley is a more important fighter that HBO should make a priority unlike these other hype jobs like Victor Ortiz and Juan Diaz. Showcasing these fighters that are more hype than substance is the problem I have.

          You misunderstood my whole argument.

I dont like watching propects fighting Tomato cans, but you need to properly develop them.

Look how Top rank has develop, Cotto, DLH FLoyd, pacquiao. The 4 biggest boxing cash cow to date.

They need to properly match their prospects, because, now, most of their prospect have lost and thats not good.

Again Im not saying they should get fed with bums, but GBPs dont know **** on how match their prospects.

Thats why Top Rank still on top.

That would've the best move ever if he would've been the one to get that done. 1 cash cow turned into 3.

Margarito became a huge name breaking Staples attendane records in his next fight.

Cotto was the front runner for Oscar, when he lost, Pacquiao got the nod.

And Cotto still remains a solid draw with a big fight coming up, on the verge of getting to that next level.

              Thats right.

              Arum knows his ****.

              Look at Pacquiao vs Cotto.

If Pacquiao wins and COtto loses, he will match Cotto with Margarito and Pacquiao/Mayweather is in place.

In the other hand, if Cotto wins, he can match PAc with JMM and Cotto can fight Mosley or FLoyd.

Bob Arum is a the smartes promoter, period!!!!!!

I read somewhere that jacobs was never signed with them, he was just a free agent

I get what your saying now. But i disagree that Top Rank is on top. They're more like Bottom Rank now.

i can't believe that arum would allow shane to fight in jan/feb in advance of a may ppv. Risky.
