Comments Thread For: Kenny Porter: I Can See Ennis Beating Crawford, Spence is Tougher Fight

Crawford was getting tagged at will by Gamboa, Kavaliauskas, Khan, Brook, Benavidez, Burns, Porter and Avanesyan.
They both get hit. That's why it's 50/50, because of WHY they get hit.
Boots slowed down by the 7th. Spence preserves shots and ratchets it up late (Ugas). That's what Chukhadzhian tried to exploit but didn't have the power. Meanwhile we saw that Chukhadzhian took some bombs from Boots and never went down. Spence has one of the best chins in the game (Porter), and isn't affected by body assault, he gives it right back (Ocampo), plus he doesn't easily fall for traps (Danny Swift, Mikey, Algieri, Brook).
Crawford gets hit because he gets frustrated easy (Brook, Khan, Porter) or he gets drawn into a mistake and gets frustrated, wanting to retaliate (Gamboa, Kavaliauskas). In the Porter fight BoMac was screaming at him to calm the hell down every round. Meanwhile, Crawford appears to be packing glass, as we've seen him go Gumby on three occasions (Gamboa, Porter, Kavaliauskas). Boots has never been wobbled to that degree despite eating shots flush.
Spence is all wrong for Boots.
Crawford is 50/50 because of his temper.
Mark it down if they ever fight.
You claim Gamboa, Kavaliauskas, Khan, Brook, Benavidez, Burns, Porter, and Avanesyan was landing at will?.... That's probably the most ignorant statement I've ever seen in these comments regarding Crawford......
An undefeated Gamboa in his prime had the most success vs Crawford in his career, yet he only was able to land 24% of his total punches vs Crawford and most of that work was done in the first 3 rounds of the fight. Khan & Brook both landed 23% of their punches.... Porter landed 22% of his punches. Benavidez landed 18% of his punches. Avaneysan landed 17% of his punches. Burns landing an amazing 14% of his punches vs Crawford. How TF is any of that evidence that they were landing at will. Kavaliauskas was the most accurate with is approach because he actually changed up his style out the gate vs Crawford and started as the counter puncher forcing Crawford to be the aggressor earlier than he normally starts his fights. But Kavaliauskas, outside of that clear punch he landed on Crawford was ineffective as Crawford eventually started walking him down after the 4th round.
I think it's hilarious how you are willing to claim Spence/Porter having the "best chins in the game", when Spence was visibly hurt by Lartey, Ocampo, Porter, & Ugas..... Porter was knocked down 6x in his career.....But you want to point out that Crawford "gets hit" because he was hurt by Gamboa & Kavaliauskas.....that type of hypocrisy is pathetic because it's clear you simply just hate a certain fighter for whatever reason.
And if you are going to lie, at least make it believable. Crawford has yet to get frustrated by ANY fighter, let alone Brook/Khan/Porter.... 3 mfers who he dominated after making one or less adjustments. How TF did Khan frustrate Crawford when he was the one picking himself up off the mat in the first round and looking for a reason to quit by the end of the 2nd round. At no point in time did BoMac "scream" anything sounding like calm the hell down throughout the Porter fight.
Your analysis was ignorantly put together because it's centered around you hatred for Crawford and lack of knowledge of the sport. To claim Crawford's temper is a factor in any of his fights just aids to the ignorance you displayed in your entire post. I'm sure you don't care to be corrected because most people who hate Crawford aren't looking to have a boxing conversation, they just want to chant nonsense about Crawford in hopes of someone joining them.
So I've given enough facts....... Your response is not needed but I'm sure you want to say something in return. I won't promise that I'll read it though. I'm out.....Comment

"At The End Of The Day", In the Porter fight BoMac was screaming at Crawford to calm the hell down every round.
Why do that if he wasn't frustrated?

Beyond that, anyone who has boxed knows that fights against bigger, tougher guys takes more out of you ... win or lose. You may think those Spence blows to Porter didn't register, but they did .... and led to getting caught and knocked down later. The punches from Porter's Ugas fight did more of the same. He wasn't nearly the same guy by the time he fought Crawford. Spence fought a better prepared, younger, less wear and tear-ed version without a doubt. Nevermind the toll that a couple more years of sparring and training takes on the body .... the wrists, the hands, the arms.
But many don't understand those parts of a fighters equation.

It should also tell you how warped Robert's vision was making that fight. Spence breezed through him like a sparring session. He played it a bit careful (maybe even too careful) thinking that MAYBE Mikey had a surprise in there somewhere, but .... nope. As for Garcia's "perceived difference .... between Crawford and Spence", he got Mikey blasted out. No doubt had a big effect on why Mikey has now retired early. LoL, Robert's perception was way off .... as is yours.

Spence got staggered by 77 year pillow-fisted Ugas. The ropes stopped him from going down. It should have been ruled a knockdown. How the Hell is he going to stand up to Bud's power if Ugas was able to drop him? I see why Al is doing everything to keep him in Witness Protection.Last edited by BlackRobb; 01-20-2023, 09:41 PM.Comment

The amount of delusion you Spence man fans exhibit is simply amazing. You seem to forget all the Spence man fans screaming at the top of their lungs that Crawford was ducking Shawn. For months and months. After Bud flattened his tires in 10, the narrative changed to "Porter was washed up" and " Shawn was semi-retired". You can't have it both ways. Porter was a formidable enough welterweight for y'all to claim Crawford was ducking him. Y'all move the damn goalposts more than stadium grounds crews.

Crawford IS a monster on any day of the week for anyone. Spence included.
Crawford DID duck the porter fight for at least two to three years when it was available to him. Like it or not Porter DID age and digress during that time. He still WAS a formidable opponent for Crawford, but he did lose. No shame.
Spence - Ugas ... yes Spence had a lapse with the mouthpiece thing and his concentration, and Ugas got a few free punches in, that nearly did drop Spence (could happen to anyone in boxing .... that's part of it). Spence "rebounded" with renewed energy and focus and put a beating on Ugas unmatched by anyone.
There are no moving goalposts nor delusions here. Facts are facts, but you continually ignore them when pointed out to you. Re-read what was written before and think on these things. LoL, have a good day chump.Last edited by MastaBlasta; 01-20-2023, 10:01 PM.Comment

I'm no Spence-man ... I am a boxing fan over many decades.

1. Come to 147 and we can fight.
2. Get a belt at 147, then we can fight.
3. Fight Shawn Porter first, then we can fight.
4. Leave Bob Arum, then we can fight.
5. Let me clean up my side of the street first, then we can fight.
6. Blame Bob. [Oh wait...that no longer applies.]
7. You need to humble yourself and accept 35% or whatever we give you, then we can fight.
And you Spence man fans pretend he never said these things.
Spence was actually in much worse shape after the Porter fight than Shawn was. If Porter was so degraded as y'all claim, why did y'all push for him to face a killer like Crawford. The level of denial, delusion and hypocrisy is off the charts. The fact of the matter is that Porter had only one fight after the razor-close Spence loss, and that was in August 2020 against Sebastian Formella, basically a shake-the-rust affair, so no, Shawn hasn't had a series of brutal wars as you claim. Try again, clown. This time, get your receipts in order.Last edited by BlackRobb; 01-21-2023, 01:16 AM.Comment
