This would be a great fight that would generate a lot of interest for boxing fans. However it would be a risky fight for floyd which means that he prob won't take it because everybody knows that he hand picks his opponents. I think its more likely he fights a chavez jr or someone like that which will give him good money and be of little risk.

This is the fight I want to see because of the size and skills matchup. In a fight with Mosley vs Floyd, watch the first Floyd vs Castillo fight (Castillo is just as big as Floyd and heavier, and which I thought Castillo won) to get an idea what a Mosley vs Floyd fight would be like . Only Mosley is faster, a better boxer, and hits harder than Castillo. But with so much money to be made if Pacman wins against Cotto, this match won't happen.

I can see Floyd getting $20 mill and Mosley around 8-10 mill. Plus they'll do that PPV buy split. This fight can break records or come close. This is a great fight for boxing and the fans. A modern day Leonard vs Hearns

Paul Williams should be someone PBF should fight. Paul would wipe the floor with PBF.

I feel someone who is mobile can beat him. I could be totally off base and completely wrong here and Shane has turned back the clock on father time. My gut, for now at least, just feels this way.

Right now I think it is Manny himself that can cause Floyd a lot of trouble. Manny is awkward, fast, has power and endless stamina. He has the type of style that can give opponents grief period. Shane on the other hand, is your textbook aggressive boxer that Floyd could prepare for much easier.
Anybody who thinks Pacquiao is a better technical boxer than Mosley don't know how to analyze fighters' styles. Man, that De La Hoya fight and that Hatton mismatch has got everybody fooled about Pacquiao's abilities. Sure, Mosley looked sluggish against Mayorga, but Margarito has way better boxing skills than Mayorga does, and when ****m was able to click with Mosley and get him to work with the tools that he is best with we saw a different fighter. I know Mayweather is way more skilled than Margarito, but when it comes to who is more dangerous between Mosley and Pacquiao I'd have to go with Mosley because I think Margarito's chin was a hell of a lot better than Oscar's at that point even though he may have been a little weight drained as well. And Pacquiao couldn't even muster up the power to knock Oscar's lifeless body to the canvass. Mosley legitimately hurt Margarito by setting him up with jabs following with power shots.

And you say that mobile fighters will beat Shane and say that's a reason why Berto will beat him. That doesn't make any sense. Berto is flat-footed. And if that fight ever happens we are in for an ugly clinch fest until Mosley takes him out. I think a Mayweather-Mosley fight would be even more exciting than that fight from an entertainment standpoint.

Hopefully this fight happens, winner of this one and Cotto-Pacquiao winner should fight.

I think Golden Boy Promotions screwed Mosley out of this fight when you stop to think about it. They just want it now because it is conveniant. When Mosley tried to get a fight with Floyd after he beat Collazo, they shoved Hatton down our throats because of the fact that he was a cash cow. And now they might've just fucked JMM's career up by setting this fight up for him. JMM called Floyd out of course, but they should've given the fight to Mosley because JMM was too small to compete with Floyd. Mosley should've told Oscar that he wanted Floyd and if he objected, Shane should've bailed on the company.

How can anyone ever take Oscar's word on anything. He is sooo FAKE!! He was saying the same thing about Hatton and Marquez beating Floyd. What's wrong Oscar? Are you that jealous of Floyd's career that your career went to ****! hahaha
