  • Mayweather-Mosley is The Target For De La Hoya

The fight Oscar De La Hoya wants to make is a welterweight clash between WBA champion Shane Mosley and comeback kid, Floyd Mayweather Jr. De La Hoya says Mayweather-Mosley is the fight that has to be made. Mayweather returned last Saturday in Las Vegas to dominate Juan Manuel Marquez. After the fight was over, Mayweather and Mosley exchanged words before a live pay-per-view audience. The hype for the two of them to fight is heavy. [details]

    This fight must happen.

It probably wont make as much money as FM and Pac, but for boxing fans i believe it is much more interesting.

Make it happen ASAP. Mayweather schools Mosley and let's get a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight next fall.

It has to happen so Shane can retire with a fat paycheck. Floyd is going to wipe the floor with Mosley.

Definitely a fight I would like to see next but I still feel strongly
as ever when i say Mayweather boxes Mosley ears off and gets
          the UD.

Shane is on borrowed time and is ready to lose. He looked good against Margarito but Antonio was made for him.

He looked like a$$ against Mayorga and barely pulled it off. He has no legs left.

This is GBP pulling the same card Arum is doing. Both want to keep everything "in house"

I don't think we will ever see a Manny vs Floyd fight.

Prediction. If Mosley fights Berto, Berto will win. he is too mobile and Shane will not keep up.

if this fight gets made, there wont be a pac-pbf fight cause pac will campaign for the upcoming elections in the PI

Thats the same thing I said. Someone posted that Mosley
has good foot work? I laughed at that. Floyd would box
around Mosley and make him miss all day. I see Mosley
pressuring early but in the later rounds Floyd conditioning,
quickness and counter punching abilities frustrates Shane.

Shane would be in the fight for about 3 rounds and keep Floyd on the defensive, then slow down and Floyd would have a picnic in there. Easy decision for Floyd.

Age has caught up with Shane IMO.
