Not sure why people are blaming the fighters here. Remember why Canelo was desperate to separate from DLH. Other than 3-4 Canelo fights, they’ve delivered zero big fights to any of their home grown talent. Both García and tank seem adamant about fighting each other. Being that tank is not attached to any promotion, if this falls thru it’d be either the network or García’s handlers fault. I’ll go with the latter.

If both sides have been publicly talking about the fight for months and no contract has been sent then it’s time to put up or shut up for Haymon.

If PBC/Showtime is taking the lead for the fight it needs to be signed soon to do a proper promotion for April. This fight could do good numbers if promoted right.

If there were legit talks already it stands to reason Haymon knows what kind of money it will take to get it done etc…
