That’s something. I think he’s talented and should just get some wins against better fighters if he want nelo. Is he better than John Ryder? Probably, but Ryder would be the best fighter bumavidez ever fought if they were fighting so that says a lot.
Come on dude, that’s not true.

Benavidez beat Dirrell in 2019, that’s a much better win than John Ryder.

Zach Parker was beating Ryder in his most recent fight, but as you know Parker gifted Ryder the win, forfeiting because he shattered his hand in the forth round and required surgery. Ryder didn’t beat the man.

Ryder is 34 years old with 5 loses and can’t cut it at the top even at the British level.
John Ryder has challenged for 3 British titles and has lost every time. He has losses to Rocky Fielding, BJ Saunders, Callum Smith and others. Ryder shouldn’t be anywhere near a world title shot, he is (as you put it) a can.

Alvarez has the biggest and most loyal fan base in the sport so he can make easier money fighting just about anyone though. And his fans will adore him even if he never fights Benavidez. But assuming Benavidez beats Plant, who else is there? Because Alvarez I'd not beating Bivol.
Ryder's win over Jacobs alone is better than Benavidez's whole career. Hell, the win over Parker is too.

Having a world title twice without facing a single world class fighter or even a decent, fringe world level guy, shows how worthless those two trinkets were.

Is that the same Jacobs who needed a split decision to beat an old Rosado? lol. He is just a name these days and an overrated one at that. Achieved nothing at 168.

Nope but Ryder did beat Jacobs and Parker. The Ryder fight may not even happen that's just what Hearn wants as Canelos UK fight but the narrative has already changed on it. Next should really be Morrell.

We know Bivol WILL fight everyone.
So Canelo is going to fight Bivol again but you think he's scared and ducking Benavidez? That doesn't even make sense. Canelo is taking the tougher fight.

Not saying that's what it is. But let's not forget people like Amir Khan ducking Kell Brook but moving up fighting Canelo.

The question is which loss would be more damaging to the fighter ego or career when questioning if they ducking

If you're fighting a more difficult opponent then by definition you aren't ducking.

People just have Canelo derangement syndrome and it has twisted their minds to the point they can't think straight any longer.
