Perfect scenario for Bivol would be that he beats Canelo at 168 and then Bertebiev at 175. That way he can be a two weight undisputed champ.

Crawford can have a shot to be undisputed in two weights and may a shot to undisputed to a 3rd weight but looks like he talks more than he actually is willing to do.

Its nice to see Bivol get talked about now. He should stay at 175 become undisputed and rack up some defenses. Canelo is irrelevant if Dimtri can handle business at 175. Also Canelo needs to stay away from this rematch. Bivol was trying to win a point decision last fight, the strategy will probably change in a rematch and Bivol will probably win a more aggressive fight.

Fighting below your weight is miles more difficult than fighting over your best weight class.

Alvarez at 175 pounds, is not weight draining himself as much as he does at 168 pounds. Within himself, he is most likely a stronger fighter at 175 pounds.

But the issue he has? Is that at 175 pounds he is facing fighters he no longer is stronger than.

Alvarez most of his career, has played the big man on fight night. I don't think he has constantly fought outside his best weight class to chase greatness.

Alvarez's fight vs Bivol was the first time he has fought, a optimally prepared 175 pound fighter.

Kovalev was not given enough time to prepare for Alvarez. Only approximately 6 weeks preparation, the turnaround was too quick after a 11 round competitive fight vs Yarde etc.

I agree, but as I mentioned before, this is something Bivol and his team are insisting on, not Canelo and/or Hearn.
