That's what happened to me with Simple Minds, a band that was good enough for my taste in the early 80s. I saw them in a small tent, literally, with very few people in attendance. Soon they graduated to opening for Peter Gabriel, then exploded around 1984. But when they released "Don't You Forget About Me" I knew it was already over for me.

If you scroll to Boxing Forums > Non Stop Boxing - you will see that the 2023 Pickem masterthread is a sticky and you can find the info there - but often also the upcoming Saturday's fight(s) have their own thread which is also a sticky.

As of today, 12th January there isn't yet a masterthread but we have a kind of pre-masterthread at https://www.boxingscene.com/forums/b...cussion-thread

also I note that ther eis no fight thread that is a sticky for this Saturday 14th and normally we have one up by a Tuesday or Wednesday - so being that it's Thursday now we may not have one for this weekend but there'll definitely be one for the 21st as the quality of fights are better (there isn't one every weekend if the fights are crap that w.e)

Just keep an eye out in the forum in other words
