Where is Frank Martin? I thought he's ready for Shakur, who is desperate for fights.

Martin's silence is deafening.
Why are these writers not completing their stories? Shouldn't they reach out to Martin and ask about whether Martin was just lying, say things people want to hear?Comment

Here's a perfect example of a case where both fighters publicly say they both want the fight, both are perfectly available and ready, yet no one is interested in seeing it happen. Not the fans, not even the writers of these articles.
This sport is 80% fantasy fights, which fans are fond of discussing about. They don't have to happen.Comment

It appears writers of this site have certain restrictions. This fight is not big enough to be jointly promoted ala Tank/Garcia.
The B side needs to be allowed to fight on the A-side's turf. Martin wants the fight, so they should let him fight on ESPN.
Exactly why these writers have no interest in making follow-up articles. But fans should demand more information, and answers like
why Martin mentions fights he knew won't happen? Was he lying like many others? And why should they get away with it?Comment

I'll be bumping up this thread till fans get answers. Martin called out Stevenson. Stevenson said, "let's get it on!" And until now we still get no response from Martin's camp.It appears writers of this site have certain restrictions. This fight is not big enough to be jointly promoted ala Tank/Garcia.

Been in these forums long enough to know what is fantasy and what is not.
Don't know the motivation why these articles are written without making any follow-up stories.
Both fighters are available, so why not pursue what you started? Why leave it hanging?Comment

It's probably because it's not in their interest to promote a potential ESPN card. The B side has to cross the street to make the fight happen. Here's a perfect example of a case where both fighters publicly say they both want the fight, both are perfectly available and ready, yet no one is interested in seeing it happen.
