LMAO he basically said "**** yeah I instigated that, what *****." This fight should have some fireworks. It could even be made before Floyd-Pac.

That's quite an eye opener and in sight.

Is that what he's been told in the past then?

Surely that's saying, I've applied that logic to my own career?

Big statement there really, because for me, it is.

Kellerman is a dip stick, Floyd got worked up and was about to speak his mind and that bug-eyed fool cut him off.

If he would have let him speak what Floyd said would have been the only thing we'd be talking about. I'm starting not to like that clown HellenKeller!

I understand what your saying but B-Hop has faced everyone. Who is left, Chad Dawson? That's it and B-Hop has showed interest in Chad.

IMO, Max Kellerman kind of ruined it, who knows what Floyd was about to say he was very emotional at that point.
But isn't that part of the unfairness?

I always thougt that it was kinda bully-ish of Floyd to show up at the first press conference and to start disrespecting Oscar like that. It isn't Oscar's game, it was unexpected. That would be like Cedric the Entertainer making "yo mama" jokes to you. You know you're not winning that one.

Floyd is a guy who cries after fights and gets emotional. Why come at him when he is most vulnerable? And two-on-one?

It is not manly of Shane to need Bernard's hand up his back.

BH: "First of all, it was the right decision and it was the best decision from a promoter standpoint and also from a fighter's standpoint first. The fighter has to be aggressive when it's time to be aggressive. He has to be disrespectful when it's time to be disrespectful. Floyd disagrees because he's on the other end. But Floyd don't remember when he bum rushed Cory Spinks' press conference after Spinks won in Vegas. He did the Kanye West at the press conference, taking away some of his shine and taking it from Cory Spinks. Ask one of Floyd's people to respond to that. Ask one of his cronies that understands. Back to Shane Mosley and what I said in his ear. A closed mouth don't get fed. This is your chance. Read my lips if they don't cut it out of the replay on HBO. I instigated him coming over and making some noise because a closed mouth don't get fed."

I: Since a closed mouth doesn't get fed, do you think he would have gotten the Mayweather fight before Juan Manuel Marquez, his stablemate?

BH: "Maybe with an interview here and there, but not on the internet. People look for that on the internet and it's good for boxing and it's good for information. At the end of the day I would love for Shane to go to Vegas and become a stalker. I'm talking about showing up at Mayweather's gate. That's not desperate and this is what boxing needs. If some are scared that the UFC is kicking our ass, this is what boxing needs and this is what the African-American community in boxing needs.

"Shane has seen every style in the game and they want to make subterfuge and deceit about steroids and why he didn't want to fight me a couple years ago, but that's bull****. If me and Roy Jones can talk about a fight 15 years, why can't we talk about Shane and Floyd when it's clearly the best fight out there. People know Shane is the same size and he has quick speed like Floyd does. Mayweather knows and I got to give him credit for trying to get the most money against the smaller guys. It's our job and we have to agree at Golden Boy and we do agree, at least right now, that we have to be the counter puncher of what Mayweather wants to do in the future, which is fight the smallest guy out there.

"If the fans want to see Floyd fight somebody his own size, Shane Mosley has come through the ranks and moved up in weight like Floyd has, so at the end of the day, they have an opportunity to bring back the black audience and capture everybody else's imagination because it's a historic throwback Ray Leonard-Tommy Hearns kind of fight. This will bring the black community back into the forefront. When we had a deep pool of legends, black fighters were embraced taking on Mexicans, Puerto Ricans and each other."

I: If you were as close to Mayweather as you are with Shane, would you be telling Mayewather he needs to fight Shane?

BH: "No. I'd be telling Floyd Mayweather if it's about lining your pockets, I'd tell him to fight the least threatening fighter, who only poses a threat thanks to the media because of their record, not their physical attributes or their style. I would tell him to fight Pacquiao ten times, get Barrera if you can get away with it, but don't fight Shane Mosley. If his intentions are to take less risk for most money, just say it. The fans of this site are not ****** and they've been educated on a lot of fronts. Floyd did what he had to do and I'm not knocking his win, but nobody likes a bully and everybody expected it. Writers have nothing to write about Mayweather until after the fight. What happened after the fight was the only unexpected television that occured that night."
Hopkins doesnt have to bring race into this, everyone wants Pacquiao and not Mosley.
Mosley is not the best,he's only beaten Margarito of late and was really getting whooped by Mayorga, moreover he got no appeal.

Mwhaha, look I generally don't dig on Hopkins I respect him a lot and he's clearly the best LHW. But Hopkins has long been criticised for fighting smaller guys, and there's often no smoke without fire. Some of his best wins have been against guys more commonly associated with lower weights or at least manipulate with the style match ups.

Hey he's a clever guy and ATG regardless. But the fact is he basically confirms it himself here by saying he would advise someone to fight a smaller less risky guy - so he clearly takes his own advice and does that exact same thing. That's his logic, period.

Floyd's smart and he will only take big money fights.Shane's just looking for a payday and Mayweather wont give him the payday.Manny is more money than Shane. To be honest Floyd could just make as much money fighting Berto as fighting Shane, not that Shane is a difficult fight but why give him a payday when he's a fool.
