    I've taken that into account.
Sometimes, time off is just what a guy needs.
His upper body movement has been more effective than his leg movement.
He usually ''shuffled'' around the ring out of a wide stance than be on his toes.
I also understand he is not who he used to be (they never are).

Tune ups, in his case, are what he needs. It's as if he's starting a new career.
    So far, so....eh ?

Looking over the MW landscape, I don't see that many ''killers''.
Sergio is not going to take the div by storm and his power might be gone.
I think he can sneak in a quality win or 2 and maybe surprise a top 10 guy who underestimated him.
Keep winning and anything can happen.

    Edit -
    Pac vs Broner happened
As did Fury vs Chisora 3
Plenty of mismatches were signed off on (not that I see Serg being in a mismatch @ MW).
Sergio still has a name and he's remembered as a quality fighter who got injured more than beaten out of the sport.
You are definitely a loyal fan to the fighter's that you support, more importantly you're a respectful in sharing your difference of opinion.
For those reason's you've earned my respect on this platform, not everyone can has the common core decency to express themselves
    without resorting to the gutter/profanity.

I think Lemeiux's chin has been cracked and he's is almost as shot as Martinez is.

Rosado and Lemeiux are, in my eyes, at least competitive fights that either guy could win. Opponents better than that would easily defeat Martinez.

I have a really strong desire to bury my face ear deep in Jessica Albas ass.... but that's never going to happen and neither is sexy Sergio picking up a strap. It's over bruh...

Returning from a six year retirement, and racking up five win's against third rate opponent's, doesn't compare to GGG title level opponent's.
He might be healthy, and in great shape, but his leg's are shot, and without them he doesn't stand a chance against anyone rated at the top of the division.
Actually we're wasting our time in speculating about what would happen in this fight, because no promoter would waste his time or money on a losing proposition like this fight.
          ... Yeah.

Bernard Hopkins holds the record of oldest boxer to win a world title at 46 years of age.

Maravilla at age 47 has the chance to beat that record. His odds aren't good and he'll probably get hurt badly, but at least he's having fun.

Just stay retired Champ and live vicariously through the champs of today who are inferior to you.

              Love King Sergio!

You may be right... he didn't come out and say it, but that would explain why so many of these old men are coming out of retirement...

Gvozdyk.... Kovalev... Chris Byrd... Maravilla... they're all faded former champions and close enough in weight to Jake Paul to possibly make a fight and earn some millions.

He'll stop having fun as soon as a solid punch lands on his old chin flush.

Chris Byrd didn't come out of retirement. He was having a manic episode after smoking too much of a green stuff and had himself filmed.

The most remarkable thing is, since 2020, Julio hasnt got off his dead ass and beat a tomato can or two to line up Chavez-Martinez II. It's still a marketable fight and he would probably win.... would be the single defining victory of his career.

But he's asleep in a hookers Toyota 4Runner right now.
