Sergio has (?) skill, which IMHO, trumps one punch power at a certain level.
I don't see Sergio, even now, getting ended with one punch by anyone.
Being that he's healthy and has always been in great shape, I'd give him a decent chance at giving a titleholder problems.

In Boxing, everything comes from the legs, and Martinez ain't got none left. He should be taking a page from Mayweather and be fighting out of a wide stance for more stability and use his upper body for his movement, but he isn't doing that - he's still trying to fight in his old style.

There are flashes of the old Sergio... jab is still heavy and sharp.... but he's going to get knocked clean out by anyone decent.

If he insists on continuing.... maybe fight Lemeiux or Rosado.
You don't think Lemieux can knock him out?

Martinez was never the most durable guy evem during his reign and relied entirely on athleticism for the most part. You won't find many reputable trainers trying to teach most boxers Martinez stance and style.

It's nice to see that he still is able to box at a respectable level given his age but I would hate to see him getting hurt trying to step up the level of competition.

Its the same with most boxers once gone from the spotlight they struggle to live out a life.

"Now I can enjoy, see who is at my side, and know the people around me. In the past, I couldn’t see anything, because I was living like a Formula 1 car, at 200 miles per hour, and everything happened too fast, as a blur" meaning= Basically he had a bunch of sleazy scumbags around him fleecing him!! SMDH...

But Sergio doesn't have the leg's that he once had, don't you remember him slipping, falling, and getting dropped numerous times against Cotto.
Returning from a six year retirement, and racking up five win's against third rate opponent's, doesn't compare to GGG title level opponent's.
He might be healthy, and in great shape, but his leg's are shot, and without them he doesn't stand a chance against anyone rated at the top of the division.
Actually we're wasting our time in speculating about what would happen in this fight, because no promoter would waste his time or money on a losing proposition like this fight.

That's right Martinez's legs are shot, even Lemieux, and possibly Rosado beat Martinez at this stage of his career.

                    Obviously.
                    I've taken that into account.
Sometimes, time off is just what a guy needs.
His upper body movement has been more effective than his leg movement.
He usually ''shuffled'' around the ring out of a wide stance than be on his toes.
I also understand he is not who he used to be (they never are).

Tune ups, in his case, are what he needs. It's as if he's starting a new career.
                    So far, so....eh ?

Looking over the MW landscape, I don't see that many ''killers''.
Sergio is not going to take the div by storm and his power might be gone.
I think he can sneak in a quality win or 2 and maybe surprise a top 10 guy who underestimated him.
Keep winning and anything can happen.

                    Edit -
                    Pac vs Broner happened
As did Fury vs Chisora 3
Plenty of mismatches were signed off on (not that I see Serg being in a mismatch @ MW).
Sergio still has a name and he's remembered as a quality fighter who got injured more than beaten out of the sport.

he ducked GGG in his time and now that he is irrelevant , he wants it.....understandable, ggg was a high risk low reward then but now high reward, "lower" risk....either way, GGG still knocks his ass out!
