Absolutely fascinating fight though. My best guess is that Beterbiev might find the late KO but if Bivol can keep him off - or just evade him - over the last few rounds I think there's a chance that he can maybe just take it if he built up a wide enough points margin early.
Indeed the Championship rounds will be fascinating in this one. I have the same feeling for Plant vs Benavidez.

I remember when they were bring up Bivol to fight Canelo. I thought that was a tuff fight for Canelo. Few agreed. I thought Canelo did pretty good considering. He wasn’t blown out of the water like a very big, undefeated Zurdo. Fact is I knew Zurdo would easily loose a decision.
Im so glad that Canelo chose Fighting Bivol. He brought attention to that division. Them boys are just to big for his old butt now. Maybe 5 years ago but I digress, Not even then. I bet Canelo could EASILY WHIP Zurdo. He should have taken that fight. That was winnable.
Bradly is interesting. I like him. I don’t always agree. I agree Bivol is great but what many ONLY can see in Beterbiev is his POWER. I see something more important. That’s why I’d pick Beterbiev. I see a DAMN GOOD fight though. I’m just as excited about this fight as I would have been about Spence and Crawford would have happened.

I don’t believe this fight will ever happen. Arum and Hearn will do everything in their power to keep the two apart. That said, I don’t have a clear favorite. Beterbiev is a psychopath in the ring, sure, but he’s also an underrated boxer on more of a subtle scale. He has a darn good shot. Bivol, on the other hand, lacks Beterbiev’s brutal power, but is one of the snappiest, smartest boxers currently in the game. It’s literally too close to call for me. Gun to my head, I’ll say… Bivol.

Bivol in prime but Beterbiev is a beast with no sign of ageing

I like both fighters and don't know who I would pick, however I do know how it ends. Either Bivol by points (UD) or Beterbiev by KO. A fight worth watching.

I think bivol will beat beterbiev on points. I think hes way to intelligent of a boxer to just allow beterbiev to just push him back an break him down think it will be hard fight for him but he'll box an he'll use his quicker hands an feet to his advantage an win a decison

He will be at minimum 38yrs old if this fight ever gets made though. It's difficult to pick up the slippage,it's there, due to his style but at this level it doesn't take much before your opponent has the upper hand. Would have been interesting to see how he performed deeper into the Joe fight had Joe not come out like a moron trying to **** it out with him. Not implying a Joe victory, just to gauge the physical aspects of his game

I've always felt Bivol turns Beterbiev all night, whether it was 3 yrs ago or next, but the longer this fight takes to make those odds go up exponentially in Bivols favor.

The thing Tim is leaving out is, Bivol will surely not be his 100% self because he's got an exotic killer in front of him. It's going to be extremely difficult to fire on all cylinders at 110% perfection for 12 rounds. Joe Smith landed plenty and when Beterbiev lands, it's gonna be lights out. Beterbiev under 8 is my thoughts.

A couple years ago most people didn't even know who Bivol was, and Beterbiev was the huge favorite. Before he dominated Zurdo, it was viewed more as 50/50. Now looks like Bivol is the favorite. It's funny to watch people's opinions change. This seems like a good call, TBH. Bivol's defense is absolutely superb. Should be a really interesting fight if it can be made. Beterbiev has real power, and he's got good skills too.
