Now ask yourself "Why did Ortiz Jr. petition the WBA for Stanionis, instead of requesting Terence Crawford?" Boots is on Spence's ass for the IBF title! Ortiz Jr. should've been on Crawford's ass for the WBO title too! Also, if you notice, Munguia is still WBO #1 at Middleweight, even though he swerved Janibek Alimknahnuly! Ryan Garcia had a shot at Haney, when he was WBC #1, and swerved too! I don't know why GBP gets their fighters to #1 position, but then avoid fighting the Champion, but it is a recent pattern with their stable!
I don't know why you're defending this. Avanesyan was number six when BLK picked him. They picked him because they knew Ennis has exclusive contract with Showtime. Ortiz basically forfeited his claim, and that seems okay with WBO. Question is why Ennis continue to fail to enforce his #2 status? Like I said I have no problem not doing so. What irritates me is when he whines and cries and says ****** things like he'll accept a Crawford offer in a heartbeat. Which he knows is silly.

WBO can make it mandatory. Or Tbud could have told the WBO to enforce it. Let BLK prime bid over for it.

I just hate to see the younger guys have to fight and try to knock each other off before challenging for a title. Spence and Crawford need to either shit or get off the pot. They are holding up the welterweight division. They need to fight each other or vacate.

Ortiz needs to fight Crawford first because he is Bud's mandatory challenger for the WBO welterweight title and Ennis needs to fight Spence first because he is ESJ mandatory for the IBF welterweight title.

At least Vergil Ortiz Jr is not saying ****** things like, "I would have accepted the Crawford offer in a heartbeat." Ennis probably will, but, again, if he filed a petition for his #2 position knowing that Ortiz was going after Stanionis, why didn't he activate his? BLK would have offered the fight to him because that is a more sellable fight than with a foreign fighter. Filing a petition signifies you are okay with fighting outside of your contract with Showtime.

You don't "enforce" number 2 status! That only happens if the WBO ordered Crawford to fight his mando, and the mando declined, then they go to number 2! However Ennis did "enforce" his status as IBF #1! Crawford knows Ennis would accept the offer in a heartbeat! He didn't make an offer to Ortiz, nor Boots! He went straight to Avanesyan, and he was negotiating that while simutlaneously talking to Spence and Haymon!

Nobody with "#2 status" petitions for anything! That's not how it works! Ortiz Jr. was WBA #1, and WBO #1. Ortiz Jr. petitioned the WBA to fight Stanionis who has the "regular" title. WBO did NOT elevate Ennis to WBO #1, and they still have Ortiz Jr. WBO #1! What Ennis did was petition the IBF, because he's IBF #1! This coming fight is for IBF "Interim" title, and Spence has 120 days after January 7th to fight the winner, or vacate the title!

Seems like you're cool with defending Crawford for fighting Avanesyan over Ortiz Jr. and Boots Ennis! Why???

Sounds like an easy path to the top for Ennis, if all he has to do is get by Chukhad to land in a title fight with whomever runs out of excuses.

Bro, it takes seconds to file a petition in this day and age.

It's up to Ortiz to demand it. Closed mouth don't get fed.
