I'm convinced $1 - $10 million is just a drop in the bucket for their investor, whoever the hell it is. This internet thing created many millionaires LEGALLY, which included average folks.

They are intentionally losing money on this investment to offset gain on other investments to pay less taxes. Or, they are using this company to launder money. Either way, it is illegal, but hey that's how some people role. About AB, I don't think he was ever a real champion. If I recall, he was an interim world title holder in multiple weight classes like Robert Guerrero, another hyped up fighter that won interim world titles against fringe contenders.
Anyways, boxing has been a joke.
RIP Stephan Bonnar. The American Psycho will be missed.

I don't mean to come off his harsh, cruel or brutal but AB is a washed out fighter now. So if some new start up streaming company is crazy enough to pay him more than his worth then fair play to both Broner and them.

What do you think PBC is/was doing with the likes of Waddell and reeds investors money, MTK was doing with Kinahans money and by association Matchroom, TR and their associated partners, boxing has always and will always be corrupt.

So, I don't know who else caught this, but "The Problem" just exposed Terence 'No Smoke' Crawford.

his compensation from PBC would be directly in line with the level of opponent, a notion that, at least on the surface, makes a lot of economic sense. In other words, the tougher the opponent, the higher the payday; the easier the opponent, the lower the payday. But Broner apparently was not on board with that kind of sliding pay scale, the assumption being that in the past he was able to garner high paychecks against lower-tier opposition.
What Broner's saying is the same as what Crawford said. He doesn't want to be paid because it's worth paying him, he wants to be paid to cherrypick. And unlike Bob Arum, PBC is basically making their fighters take threats to get the biggest paydays OR take less money for easy work. It's up to them really.

If BLK Prime is legit throwing money, they won't last long. Broner's in his early 30's, Crawford's in his mid-30s, they have no truly "prime" fighters. How much mileage do you think you're getting out of these guys?

Now, that said, if BLK Prime told Broner, "yeah but, you gotta let them hands go if you want to get the full check", okay, let's see if that happens. Otherwise...they'll be dead in two years and likely go the way of Daniel Kinahan on the way out.

Yes, just reading what broner says tells you everything about what he's about!

I want fighters to get paid the most because they are the ones taking all the punches BUT if I was Al haymon I would not be giving broner top dollar because he hasn’t had a clear definitive win in 7 years.

lots of fighters have been over paid in the past, and underpaid more common but these guys seem to be taking the % to another level, almost like throwing money away, i cant wait to find out what the hell is going on
