He is though and this fight wouldn't tell me any different. The only thing it will tell me is Loma is too small for his competition these days and he's out of his prime years. He's clearly been on the downward in his last few outings, not looking as sharp as in the past.

At this point, if Haney beat him, it would be a meh win to me. I truly believe, if they were at Loma's prime weight and Loma was in his prime, Haney would pull a no mas chenko.

Naw, it’s already been done. TEO SHOWED how to beat Loma. It was never a secret. Few could do it but NOW he’s just too old to fend off the young lions. Easy win for Haney. Proves little.
I KNOW Shakur could give Haney a very hard time but I doubt that’s happening anytime soon. Maybe in 3 years.
WHO I really wanted to see fight Loma BEFORE Haney was TANK but he has no balls to take on even an OLD Loma.
Im sure after Haney wins. He’ll suddenly get brave. Well MAYBE. Try Loma at 40 Tank. Safer bet.

Have you seen Devin at weigh in? He looks like hes one of those poor starving kids in Sally Struthers' feed the children campaigns in the 80's. I seriously doubt he can make the 135lb division mid/late next year.

Loma is a fantastic boxer and certainly made some history.

A brilliant amateur, a superb professional. But perhaps somewhat too much hype when they spoke of him and 'the matrix' etc.

You will just show that he passed his prime and has no business fighting at 135 drained welterweights.

Similar to when Sweet Pea and Chavez fought DLH.

Prime for prime, pound for pound he ****s you up.

Loma has a lot miles behind him. Being an elite amateur, you train like a pro, take planes for big international tournaments, you fight your a'ss off against the elite of up and coming fighters, you're on a strict diet...

Loma has +300 fights in that context, and has fought about 15 championship level pro fights, people are getting fooled by his 18 fights record.

His body is falling appart, he often get injured, he is slowing down.

At his apex he was Amazing and a lot of fighters ducked him.

NOW they line up to fight him ...

Dude is riding the high waves just because he is a weight bullly (you can see the size difference between him and Kambo, and Loma is even smaller) wait till he goes up to 140 he will be ordinary like the fakeover... and Loma will be in HOF regardless, win or lose!

Sorry but rude awakening awaits Haney.

You may very well be onto something because so far they are delaying and stalling the date when the Haney vs Loma fight takes place. Stevenson gives Top Rank their best chance at securing and regaining those lightweight belts. I believe he defeats Haney if those two were to ever meet in the ring.
