AJ definitely needs a tune up fight & Wilder is not a tune up opponent. Wilder is a hard hitting, former champion. RJJ knows what he's talking about here.

Translation, Aj is weak minded and doesn’t cope with adversity well. His actions in the ring and weirdo rant after his last lossprove that. As limited as Wilder is, his power impacts everyone who steps in the ring with him and Aj would be no different. The second he faced adversity in that fight following a solid shot, there’s a good chance he’d pack it in just like he did vs Ruiz and twice vs Usyk. Go pick on a lesser threat like Whyte for the time being.

I don’t think they will ever fight due to Joshua’s promoter who will try to exert dominance over wilder’s career and will demand the fight be on dazn in the usa. Politics will kill this fight from ever being made unless Hearn realises that showtime or FOX will want the PPV rights. No use even talking about it with hearn’s history with trying to control wilder

Screw off Roy. Let the biggest fights happen. If AJ can't take the heat then it's time to retire.

It wouldnt matter how many cupcakes he beats up.
Once this no confidence giant gets in the ring with Wilder, the thought of getting sparked at any moment might scare him out of his timidity and wake his ass back up.
It's either that or curl up in a fetal position and beg Wilder to stop hitting him so hard.
Personally I think it Aj will get cracked one time and then pee himself.

After all the messing around , it's Plain to see that Wilder detests Hearn and the only way this could be made is for Wilder to do the deal to spite Hearn with a vicious KO that Eddie and Hearn Sr. (by his own admission) have been trying to avoid for years ....seem Hearn is having trouble controlling Lawrence Okolie !

Except Jones states Joshua probably wins that fight but a tune up fight is the best option to secure a win . The only thing he states is you need to be mistake proof against Wilder but that’s not really based on much considering Wilder has only fought two guys that actually thought they would win , Fury and Ortiz and we know how the Fury fights turned out and how lucky he got in the first Ortiz fight .

RJJ is talking perfect sense here. AJ should pick an easy opponent for his comeback fight, just like Wilder did after getting KTFO by Fury. But maybe not someone quite as easy as Helenius.
