So all this talk, I still keep seeing Fury's hardcore fans going on about? Fury's skills, what what he can do 'He can do this, he can do that' blah blah blah.

Tyson Fury is showcasing all these apparently beyond level skills vs Fighters who skill for skill technically are not World or elite level fighters.

Deontay Wilder was a elite level fight. But skill for skill technically as a fighter, Wilder is not a World level to Elite level fighter.

This is no disrespect to Wilder, because I rate the man. I rate his power, determination, aggression and he does have a solid Jab.

But overall as a pure boxer, Deontay Wilder is not a elite level fighter. Both Anthony Joshua & Usyk are more experienced than Fury at World & Elite level.

It has been a long time since Tyson Fury, has fought at World or Elite level skill for skill. That is the fact of his resume, and his career right now.

That is why what McGuigan is saying, does have some validity.

Dillian Whyte & Derek Chisora these fights have no carry over for the Usyk fight. Fury has done nothing for me in those fights, which prove he is miles better than these other heavyweights.

Anthony Joshua beats both Whyte & Chisora more impressively than Fury. There are many other Heavyweights active right now, who beat both of these fighters up badly.

So when Tyson Fury's hardcore fans keep on stating things like 'Fury has proven that he can adapt and figure out opponents'. I would not be bragging about figuring out domestic to high end European level fighters, who are miles outside their peak 'That is all Tyson Fury has done since Kiltschko'.

I honestly have no idea what Fury's hardcore fans are talking about. Wilder should of been a straight forward fight stylistically for Fury, but instead he was battered and was in a complete mess during the entire third fight.

What Barry McGuigan is stating, in my opinion is very astute. Tyson Fury has not fought at this level for 7 years.

Fury has fought a bunch a fighters who skill for skill, are not world or elite level. The best two boxers pure fighters he has fought are Wladimir Kiltschko & Steve USS Cunningham.

I still make Tyson Fury the favorite. Because the man should be the favorite. But I am honest enough, and perspective enough to know? Fury has not fought at this level of boxing for a very long time. All the stories, and jackanory's that Fury himself and his hardcore fans like to create 'Don't count'. When Tyson Fury steps to fight Usyk, Fury is entering back to elite level.

Even if Tyson Fury would of fought Anthony Joshua in his last fight, that would of been the first time since Kiltschko he had actually fought skill for skill at World to elite level since Kiltschko.

and Usyk struggled against Chisora. So by you saying Fury easily beat Chisora, and that others beat him easily, then what does that say about Usyk? Or the fact Usyk struggled with a man in Chaz Witherspoon who hadn’t been in the ring but twice in 3 years and was pretty much retired. What’s Usyk’s best win? A majority decision over briedis, a washed up old huck, Michael hunter who went life and death with Jerry Forrest? Or a wanna be hype job in Anthony Joshua?

I like McGuigan, but I think he has a prejudice against Tyson. He predicts he'll lose every bout, or else he says "He's fighting this guy because he's scared of that guy". He called for Wilder to KO Fury three times. Any Fury-Usyk bout will be close and amazing, but Barry acts as if Tysons a rank amateur. Listen to your colleagues, pundits and analysts.

He struggled but he still won. Stylistically, Chisora was a difficult fight for Usyk.

Fury has also struggled against fighters stylistically. Fury was battered by Wallin, battered by Wilder? Or are you one of these people who make things up and think the Wilder trilogy was easy? It was not easy, but stylistically it should of been.

Usyk has fought 24 rounds at elite level in the Heavyweight division. People may mock Joshua, but he is whether people like it or not a elite level Heavyweight in this era of Heavyweights.

Muhammad Ali struggled with Norton, Frazier. What happened when he fought George Foreman? It is very cliche statement, but sometimes styles do effect the action of fights and how different fighters go about winning.

I honestly don't think Tyson Fury has skill for skill, a more impressive win than Usyk beating Joshua twice 'Definitely not since Kiltschko'.

Usyk vs Johsua skill for skill was a by far more high level contest than Wilder vs Fury 3. You only have to look at the action.

Wilder & Fury were a complete and utter mess from round 2-3 and on-wards, falling about everywhere and making unforced errors.

I personally enjoyed Wilder vs Fury III more, and I do think the trilogy was awesome. But skill for skill it was quite a low level contest.

Fury at many points in that fight, was way open to being sparked out. If Wilder had true elite level skills, and a sophisticated offense? He could of just come straight down the middle and ****** Fury out, definitely decked him more times.

When Fury fights Usyk, he is entering back to a level of technical skill he has not competed at for 7 years.

It is a fact of international boxing, that Tyson Fury skill for skill has not fought at elite level since Kiltschko. Everyone on this thread, on this forum and in the boxing world knows this to be correct.

If you disagree with me, tell me who Fury has fought skill for skill at elite level since Kiltschko? I want you to respond and tell me which fighter he has fought at this level.

Note: I still make Tyson Fury the favorite. But all I am doing within this thread, is pointing out that fact that Fury has not fought at this level skill for skill since Kiltschko. And maybe this is something people must consider during the build up to the fight etc.

debatable win. And no response on Chazz Witherspoon.

you lost me on saying wilder battered fury. That’s a new one. A couple lucky punches maybe? But nowhere near getting batteries. Wallin’s also severely underrated, and would beat most fighters in the heavyweight division. At this point, wilderer sparks out Joshua. Can’t call it skill for skill, when Joshua’s main weakness is in his head. I agree fury hasn’t fought anymore on a level as klitschko, but realistically Usyk has never really fought any high level fighters. A couple of undefeated fighters in arguable the weakest division in boxing, some who don’t even fight anymore or who have lost a couple since, and a few washed up hucks and bellow’s. That’s the realism to it all.

Deontay Wilder decked Fury 5 times maybe more, over a duration of 3 fights. Wilder nearly sent Fury into another dimension in the first fight. Wilder has pushed Fury more than any other opponent. I know Fury's hardcore fans have difficulty in accepting that Wilder pushed Fury, but I think it would be wise for Fury's hardcore fans to be real and honest. You cannot change history, by just making things up among yourselves.

I came up in this thread, and highlighted a 1000% fact regarding Tyson Fury's resume and career

Tyson Fury has not fought at elite level skill for skill for 7 years, since the Wladimir Kiltschko fight. That is a 1000% fact. That is the current situation right now in international boxing and Tyson Fury's career 'You have not said anything which proves, that statement invalid or incorrect'.

That is what you need too understand, you are not proving me wrong in this debate.

Nobody on this thread, none of the hardcore Tyson Fury fans have challenged myself or my statements on this thread. Because the point I have made, is 1000% correct.

The only thing Fury's hardcore fans on this thread can do, is ether quote me and attempt to insult me. Or just make stories up regarding the History of boxing. That is their number 1 behavioral tactic. Well not every boxing fan is so easily duped, or falls for that kind of nonsense.

Usyk has just fought Anthony Joshua twice back to back 'That is 24 rounds against, skill for skill another elite level fighter'

Whether people like him or not, that is the standard Anthony Joshua reached in his boxing career. Joshua was skill for skill technically, as well as in terms of ranking a elite level fighter.

Tyson Fury has fought nobody since Wladimir Kiltschko, anywhere near this level skill for skill 'Were as Usyk has fought at this level at Heavyweight and at Cruiser weight'. These are the fact mate, the rankings of Usyk's opponents show and prove this.

Ottin Wallin still right now, is not a elite level fighter. At best Ottin Wallin is high end European to World level fighter 'Maybe'. Wallin has won no world titles, he has won zero international medals as a amateur, and at the time when he fought Tyson Fury? The man was domestic level fighter 'Still Fury was battered and busted up real good in that fight, it was not a easy fight'.

If what I am saying is wrong, if I am making stories up. Again I am speaking to hardcore Fury fans out there, on this thread and forum.

If I am making things up, then come at me. Show me the elite level fighters skill for skill Fury has fought since Kiltschko?

Nobody will show me anything, nobody is going to come at me with any serous intent or conviction to prove me wrong. Because the point I raised regarding Fury's resume is correct.

People must understand, I am bringing these points up 'Because this is a boxing forum'. And during the build up to a mega fight, I believe this is something we must take into consideration.

Ether people can deal with the situation and the facts or they cannot.

I will give you credit, because you are trying. You do understand deep down, the point I made is correct.

I am not out to disapprove Fury as a fighter 'I personally rank Tyson Fury as the number 1 Heavyweight, because he has the two best wins in the division'.

But what I am highlighting, is that skill for skill when it comes to pure boxing. Fury has not fought at elite level since Wladimir Kiltschko, and he has barely fought at World level etc.

You’ve literally jumped around every Usyk statement thrown at you. Thank you for proving my fact even more.

just to clarify though. Cunningham landed a cleaner shot in Fury. Wilder is no shape way or form battered fury, other than landing a few fringe albeit strong shots due to his power being on a level close to shavers.

You discredited yourself saying again claiming Anthony Joshua is an elite world class fighter.

Otto wallin, if a fringe euro level fighter, then how is Joshua elite? Wallin beats Joshua.

thank you though for skirting my rebuttal of Usyk fighting anyone of note though. I never disagreed with your thought on fury taking easy fights. Usyk’s just never fought anyone on close of a level, and struggled with two gatekeeper heavyweights. One who he see debatably lost against.

                hey, you tried.

Proof is in the eating. If Fury beats Usyk easy I believe that. For me as it stands I think Uysk is more professional than Fury. Doesn't go on occasional drinking benders and is more respectful to his opponents. In view of this Uysk is my favourite current fighter albeit Fury use to be. Having said that if Fury had Usyk's dedication I feel would be practically unbeatable.

If Fury looked after himself a bit more though would be so much better as noted. As stated Ive got friends who look in better physique than him no doubt not helped by Furys occasional drinking benders . The body is a machine and the more you look after it better it runs.
