He didn't look great? Your statement should've been he didn't look good!

"Lopez (18-1, 13 KOs) believes that after two successful outings at 140 pounds, he’s ready to compete against the upper echelon of his new division. "

Haven't heard Lopez confirming he wants the fight after being moved up the line for a title fight against Prograis now that Ramirez' has officially ducked out of his own mandated shot.

Lopez was always overestimated, just like ward who has a trash record and fought a bunch of nobody's.

Calzaghe would have easily stoped him.

Teo got way overrated for that win. People pretend that Loma basically didn't throw a punch because of how well Teo boxed, but that simply isn't true. Loma gave away practically the first seven rounds because he didn't want to risk his shoulder, which would have been a risk even if it was just a heavy bag. We all saw what happened when he decided that he needed to open up. The only round that Teo deserves credit for is 12, but getting wrecked for 4 rounds by a one armed guy that you have reach and weight on isn't a good look.

He didn't win that fight. Loma lost it. Then he got overconfident and got beat up by his mandatory. He's very one-dimensional. Kinda like a smaller version of Berlanga.

Lopez, as supremely gifted as he is, is his own biggest enemy. He is a serious head case and if he doesn't get his priorities straight, will probably self-destruct at some point in his career. Martin is a highly underrated boxer that probably shoulda got the nod against him. That razor-thin win Lopez got should be a wake-up call to really make some serious changes around him if he wants to progress as a fighter and as a person bc so far he hasn't shown any in either department.

One of the most honest assessments I've read here regard Teo vs Loma.

Sandor Martin isn’t a pushover, he has no ver 40 fights. Why is everyone pouncing on Teofimo as if Sandor Martin is a bum.

Let’s revisit when Teofimo has two more fights but I would like to see him avenge his lost to Kambosos. Entertaining PPV worthy scrap!

Mikey Garcia was coming off a long layoff but he was clearly outboxed by Martin who is underrated, most def. I wasn't surprised at all that Teo Lopez had a tough time with Martin.

Teo's a 25 year old kid who took a tricky veteran southpaw with far more pro experience on short notice. It was a tough night for him and he learned a lot. You think Floyd, Oscar, or Manny step up the competition against a more experienced southpaw on short notice? NOPE.
