Simple, Bud knew Spence wasn’t going to be able to fight in Nov… why should Bud wait on an undisciplined fake clowns like Spence & Haymon?

If he isn't fighting Crawford any time in the first half of '23...then who? Only fights I want to see him in are Thurman, Ennis or Ortiz. Same goes for Crawford. No more "stay busy" fights.

What fight date? Spence’s side didn’t send the revised contract til oct. 6th. Spence was on vacation oct. 2nd. You expected the fight to be announced 6 weeks before it happened? The fight wasn’t happening on nov. 19th. When Spence heading back from disneyland (which he says he was at on Oct. 2nd), he’s on audio saying “hopefully the fight can happen in January”.

Crawford said Spence’s side only agreed to give him the transparency on expenses when he’d moved on to start securing a fight for 2022, and that they (Spence’s side) still wanted the fight for next year (reported date being February). Also what would Spence know about what Crawford is doing? Spence is out living life and waiting on the updates from Al or whoever. Mayweather who for some reason has been sticking his head in-between conversations of Spence vs Crawford since the very beginning, said on the date Spence Sent the revised contract (6th Oct.), “the fight isn’t happening as of right now. It may happen, but further down the line”.

They were in negotiations for an undisputed title fight. Had it not been for Spence getting into another car wreck, He likely could have been ready for a January fight. With Crawford having just fought, he won't be.

So Spence sent the revised contract in early October. They could have easily both been prepared for a showdown in January or February. But with Crawford fighting Avanesyan this month, there's no way he would be ready for Spence in January nor February. It just so happened that because Spence had a recent auto accident that a fight in February is now moot anyway.

They could’ve fought in Oct., could’ve fought in Nov., could’ve fought in January, then it became February. Could’ve or should’ve. Things dragged on too long.

5-8 million is what they wanted to pay Thurman. He’s a bigger name that both
probably would've got more anyway. If the fight is as big as people believe it would be, he would definitely net more.

He wasn't asking transparency for Bob Arum and TR. While they paid him crumbs of what his actual worth was.

He'll likely face Thurman if the WBC has its way.

Could be Ennis if the WBA has its way.

He forced Spence into his contract by initially refusing Kavaliauskas, making Arum have to pay him 900k if he couldn’t bring him an offer for a Spence fight. He refused to sign Brook because he wanted to Force Arum to bring him Spence or Pacquiao (which was a done deal till Covid cancelled the event). The Brook scenerio was the entire cause for Crawford & Top Ranks soured relationship. So I think he tried as much as any sane individual can expect.

And what exactly is Spence supposed to be budging on? Everything was agreed to except Spence giving Crawford the books. Which apparently wasn’t a “major deal point”.
That's such a s.hit reason though. F.uck the books and just beat him since Bud is so certain of it.

None of it matters if he beats Spence anyways. Crawford would be the top dawg on a level that only Canelo is at.
